Safe R. The margin may get into single digits, but I don't think this is a sleeper race.

If Galloway wants to have a shot at winning, she should aim for this map:

Galloway is more likely to win Greene County than Jefferson County at this point.

Just keeps on shrinking! There isn't even any real campaigning going on yet!

Parson has the state's partisan lean behind him, but he also has literally nothing to campaign on other than not being Eric Greitens and not being a Democrat. His coalition consists of all the "eh, it's fine I guess" voters.

If Galloway wants to have a shot at winning, she should aim for this map:

Galloway is more likely to win Greene County than Jefferson County at this point.

I think the increasing suburbanization in northern Jefferson combined with the few remaining ancestral Democrats gives her a chance there.

Greene County is possible as long as she manages to avoid talking about abortion.

Lol, no it doesn't. She lost the county to Saundra McDowell by 3% while winning the state by 6 in the Auditor's race.

Also consider that most of Jefferson County is in the 3rd Congressional district (and as a result had a much elevated voteshare for Constitution Party candidate Luetkemeyer in 2018), and its even less impressive.

This isn't 2012. Jefferson County is now decidedly to the right of the state.

It's to the right of the state, of course, but most counties are. It's not likely, just maybe slightly more possible than in 2016.

By the way, if the location in your profile is correct, that seems like a pretty unfortunate place to be for a socialist in Missouri. How are things out there?

Jason Kander nearly won with only two additional counties to HRC’s map: Platte and Clay. Those are must-wins, but she definitely doesn’t need Buchanan, Ste Genevieve, or Jefferson. Greene and St. Charles counties appear to be the next tipping point counties

We are talking about Trump as Prez whom won with Gary Johnson taking 3 percent from Hilary in AZ, NC, FL, WI, MI and PA. Not Rubio, Jeb or Kasich

So first he was doing nothing...now he's actively hurting himself:

(the McCloskeys are the couple in that photo, pointing guns at protesters in St. Louis)

Suburban moms will not be a fan.

I have to say, it's pretty remarkable how firmly in favor of BLM public opinion has become during the last month and a half. I imagine the pandemic has played a part in that.
