A political novice who became a Republican celebrity after running Trump’s online ad effort in 2016, Parscale has long operated without a campaign manager’s usual autonomy, as Trump family members exert their influence.

Now Parscale’s role is being further threatened. Trump has made clear his displeasure with Parscale, especially after a disappointing rally in Tulsa, and the campaign has expanded its senior team in ways that diminish his role, according to multiple campaign and administration officials.

Trump’s new kitchen cabinet, a combination of White House and campaign employees led by White House senior adviser Jared Kushner, includes Parscale’s recently promoted deputy Bill Stepien and two communications aides from the 2016 campaign — Hope Hicks and Jason Miller, who was recently hired by the campaign and is increasingly seen as its principal strategist.

Miller and Stepien, who officially report to Parscale, were talking with Trump almost every day in the week leading up to Trump’s pivotal July 3 speech at Mount Rushmore. Sometimes, Republican Party chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and Chris Carr, the party’s political director, joined the conversations.

Yeah this dude will not still be campaign manager at the end of the week.

I'm surprised he's lasted this long.

Anyone want to take bets on how many campaign managers Donnie will go through this time? And then how many will be indicted eventually?

At the risk of sounding like one of the chronic Democrat pessimists, one of my few fears has been that, considering Trump won an electoral vote majority with under 46% of the vote last time, simply putting his campaign apparatus in the hands of non sycophantic morons could give him a Fighting Chance. The good news here though is that list of people now in charge, especially Jared Kushner, is effing laughable. Moreover, it's almost surely not going to change between now and November As Trump for all 70 some years of his life refuses to listen to experts or anyone outside of his immediate circle. They're all Crooks and pimps and grifters and thus incompetants.

It doesn't sound like anyone that Trump would move into the position after Parscale would be any better equipped than Parscale tbh

Trump treats anybody who works for him like an abused maid. That's the consequences of being a bratty silver-spoon. They're all there to clean up his messes and make him look good. No loyalty or appreciation for the guy who got the most unqualified person to run for President elected. One with a videotape saying he grabbed women by the pussy whenever he felt like it.

This was obvious after the Tulsa disaster. I eagerly await for Parscale's tell-all book to come out. He really ought to just start writing it right now. His fate is sealed. Trump goes through campaign managers like he does fried chicken wings.
