According to CNN, President Trump has played more than twice as many rounds as President Obama had to this point in their respective Presidencies.

I want a president whose exercise is a real sport. It's about time we had a president who treated the White House lawn as his own personal bocce court.

Golf is a real sport (just ask Tiger Woods, or Phil Mickelson)

I'm shopping around. Cuomo, Fauci and Kanye are all possible write-ins if Joe goes crazy on me.

If you notice... the really-good golfers seem to have no excess weight. I suspect that they are in training... and when they start going for the banquets, their game goes downhill. Tiger Woods got out of shape and his game paid for it. He got back in shape, much of which isn't golf, and he became a good golfer again.

Because of all of the views it gives them.

If they banned his account, the Right would migrate en masse to Parler and the latter would become a truly alternate microblogging platform, which Twitter doesn't want. Twitter's sweet spot is where they maintain hegemonic control over their microblogging monopoly but still have the power to "unperson" minor figures from time to time. If they go overboard with their power they lose it. Their AI algorithms tell them exactly what will happen, e.g. how many new users Parler (for example), in 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, if they ban a particular user who migrates to that platform. So whenever they issue a ban they already know the exact impact it will have.

That being said, Twitter is also aware they are under threat from open source, which would be a real revolution that takes the Internet back to the days of hyperlinking where anyone could be independent and your online persona wasn't subject to the ax at any moment by a platform. If things go well, in 10-20 years Insta, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and pretty much every app you can think of will go open source.

Haha, but you see Trump's rounds are much shorter than Obama's were. Or something.

Can you believe the level of total BS the Orange Clown is spewing here?
I would love to hear some blue-avatar actually defend that Obama golfed more than trump.

As I recall, criticizing Barack Obama for playing golf used to be one of Donald Trump's favorite pastime activities for a couple of years. So, I think it's only fair that Trump is undergoing the same process now, especially with a worsening viral outbreak going on and all.

Donald Trump's most casually broken promise
Quote
"I'm going to be working for you," he told a campaign rally crowd in August 2016. "I'm not going to have time to play golf."

"I love golf, but if I were in the White House, I don't think I'd ever see Turnberry again," he said in February 2016, referring to the famous course he owns in Scotland. "I don't think I'd ever see Doral again," he added, referring to the famous course he owns in Miami. "I don't ever think I'd see anything — I just want to stay in the White House and work my ass off, make great deals, right? Who's gonna leave?"

A round of golf is good exercise if you walk the course, which Trump doesn't.

Even though I can't stand Trump, everyone needs a mental health break, especially the President who has so much pressure on him.

Not everyone is into rigorous exercise.

Let him have his golf. I don't begrudge anybody taking time to play. Especially when it's an outdoor activity. Very healthy on many levels.

Are we really supposed to believe that Trump even cares about exercise at all? How stupid does he think we all are?...Actually I can answer that, he got elected as this country's President, so he isn't wrong to assume that most people are dumb.

There's also the fact he said he has golfed less than Obama, which I believe is also incorrect.

The issue isn't he's taking time off for golf. To a lesser degree, it's the fact that he's taking so so much time off. He is probably the laziest SOB since at least Reagan, if ever, to inhabit the White House.

More to the point, it is yet another example, well into the five digits I think my last count, of trump being a complete total unashamed hypocrite, and not remotely seeming to realize it. It points towards much deeper and scary mental problems.

They'd be scary if they hadn't been on full display the last four years, but you get my meaning.

One thing I find odd about Mr. Trump's golfing: the lack of coverage of it.

Oh, the pool reports when he goes to a golf course. But all we ever get are fuzzy telephoto shots. For such an egomaniac as Mr. Trump, you'd think he'd want more coverage of something he loves to brag about. Even if he was reluctant to allow comparatively unrestricted media access for fear they'd catch him cheating, or just point out how bad he is, I'd think there would be a few more staged photo ops.
