Our roads here in New Jersey are not in good condition and the debacle of the Pulaski Skyway project shows that they aren't getting repaired as quickly as they need to. The Federalists also want to pass a personhood bill, that would make access to abortion services nearly impossible for millions of women across our state. The Federalists want more guns in our streets. They want for criminals to have guns, they want to end background checks, they want to repeal the AWB that I helped pass in New York. Pennsylvania - and Atlasia as a whole - is in the middle of a crisis of intensity not seen since the Cold War. Between the coronavirus, climate change, and the continued need for socioeconomic and racial justice, now is not the time to elect a government that has no plans and doesn't know what they're doing. So to me, it's perplexing when all a Liberal representative has to say on this is "Under a Liberal government, the state will fight for you". C'mon! Any of y'all could do better than that!

This event, though, is part of a broader pattern - the Liberal Party is a party without a plan, and isn't prepared to provide the strong leadership Pennsylvania needs. They resort to generic platitudes to paint themselves as a legitimate alternative when, in reality, they'll have no idea what to do once they get to Harrisburg. Levittown, the Liberals will not solve this crisis - we need to stick with proven leadership and vote for Laborites up and down the ballot.

In stark contrast to Liberal posturing, your Labor representatives have been working hard for YOU during this pandemic. President Pericles and the Labor Congress took early action to keep Atlasians safe from the coronavirus, crafting a strong, science-based response that has played a big part in keeping COVID contained. And, they've kept making progressive legislative pushes - passing an expansion of social security, a huge boon for our nation's elderly, a plan that helps promote rural broadband construction, and a bill that will promote investment and redevelopment in our forgotten inner cities. The Labor Party will bring a new kind of leadership here to Nyman. We are not the tired ideas and stale tricks of the old politics. We are not the limp marching-on of the Federalist status quo. We are the party of bold progressive change, and we will deliver!

We will not be silent in the face of entrenched injustice. We will end redlining, which has denied much-needed resources to so many underprivileged communities, particularly communities of color. We will get DC's homeless population to under 5% in the next five years. We will reform our criminal justice system to take bad cops off the streets and end the systemic racism in our courts and police.

We will protect and expand access to reproductive health for women, which the Federalists want to take away, so that all women can have access to reproductive healthcare. We will continue the fight for gun control, which I will note, I pioneered one and a half years ago in my native Lincoln. Our  leadership inspired others in Labor to take up the cause, and eventually a federal ban was passed. But the recent tragedies in Atlanta show that the fight against gun violence is not yet complete. Unlike the Federalists, we won't bow down to the gun lobby, we will take them on. We have fought them before beat them, and we will again!

We will raise the state income tax on those making over $300,000, because the rich need to pay their fair share. We will implement a 5% wealth tax on those making over $1,500,000. With the new tax revenue collected from our new progressive tax system, we will increase funding to our schools, to ensure that DC schools are the best they can be. We will expand public transit here in DC, and we will renovate highways and build new ones. We will fund our museums, which are a national treasure.

The choice is clear, Nyman! Labor is the progressive choice in this election,  and our record shows that a just society can become a reality, if you give us a chance, thank you!

I was perturbed to hear some of the accusations that the Federalists have been throwing around regarding our campaign. They said that we were trying to win this race by fear mongering about issues that have already been settled? That's where we differ from the Federalists, unlike them we believe that there so many issues here in DC that still need to be fixed, such as redlining, such as gun violence, such as police brutality, such as income inequality, and so many others. We have seen what has happened when the right is in control of government. Currently in the Lincoln Council, Councilors in the Federalist and Democratic Alliance parties are trying to take away critical protections for the right for a woman to make her own reproductive decision. A right that millions of women cherish here in New York. In fact, they are even using dishonest and debunked rhetoric like "partial-birth abortions" to take that right away. On the other hand, the Labor Party has always been committed to reproductive choice and always will be.

If elected in this month's election, we will increase funding for Planned Parenthood here in New York and we will build more abortion clinics here in the state, particularly in the rural north, where so few clinics exists, and it is hard for women to get care, but also here in the downstate region, where we know that the demand for reproductive healthcare remains high. One thing remains clear, under a Labor government, the women of New York will get reproductive healthcare from a licensed physician and not from a clothes hanger in a dark closet in their home.

The right is also trying to roll back key gun regulations that Labor implemented here in Lincoln. I led the charge to implement those regulations, because I believe firmly in keeping our schools and our communities safe. We have all seen the horror of mass shootings, in fact a couple of weeks ago, we saw a senseless act of violence in Atlanta, stricter gun laws keep people safe. The fight for gun reform Lincoln started as a small movement and an unlikely alliance, between me and then Councilor tack50, who went on to become a Senator for this region. Nobody said we would ever hope to pass a bill, but we got it done and nearly won a referendum to pass the law.

When I returned to the Council later that year, we got it done, and we passed the strictest gun laws anywhere in Atlasia at that time, at the regional or the federal level. Then our movement grew and a bill that I had submitted as a citizen ultimately became the federal Assault Weapon Ban. Our movement did what no one had before and took a stand against the gun lobby and helped protect everyday Atlasians. Unfortunately, every Representative of the federal Federalist Party voted to repeal that ban and put dangerous military-grade weapons back in the hands of criminals. That is irresponsible leadership and we must make it clear that we will not let it stand.

Unfortunately, now the Federalists and the Liberals are trying to roll back our regional ban. They want to make silencers legal, which would make it extremely hard for police to find violent criminals and could possibly allow shootings to go on for minutes or even hours longer before they are stopped, leading to a countless additional loss in lives. On gun control, Lincoln Labor has not just talked the talk, we have also walked the walk, and our party remains committed to keeping you and your family safe and keeping guns out of the hands of dangerous criminals, and it always has been.

Labor will never give up the fight for a better Atlasia, take a look at our record and then take a look at the record of the Federalists, Democratic Alliance, and Liberals and you decide which record is better for New York, the record that is proven to get things done or the record that wants to ignore problems that still exist in society. Labor is the party with an agenda for Massachusetts. You watched with horror as the Democratic Alliance, Federalists, and the Liberals joined in an alliance to radically weaken gun control protections here in Lincoln. They called it the "Firearms Freedoms Act," I say we call it the "Gun Scam Bill." A scam designed to help their donors in their gun industry and hurt you, everyday working Massachusettans. They are all pawns of the NRA and now they've set their sights here on Massachusetts, they want this governorship, and if they get it, they will let criminals walk free in the streets, you and your family will be in danger. Labor will keep guns off our streets and work to protect you and your family, whether it be in your neighborhood at night, or in your child's school in the middle of the day.

The unholy trinity of the Democratic Alliance, Federalists, and Liberals also joined to significantly weaken protections for reproductive choice here in Lincoln. They want to go back to the era of coat hangers, where women who could not afford to leave the country, would need to hide in corners and undertake dangerous abortions using coat hangers, a practice that could kill them. This is the type of agenda they want to bring to Massachusetts. Labor has always been committed to reproductive choice for women, but more importantly, equality for women. We have always been the party of women's rights, and we will work to continue that, if re-elected for another term, we will remain committed to this cause by promoting equality in the workplace, we will create a committee for examining sexual harassment claims, and will pass a law saying that any employee accused of sexual assault shall be placed on administrative leave while the company investigates. Additionally, we will require that every company with more than 50 employees must have at least one woman on its board of directors, and every company with more than 400 employees, must have at least half of its board of directors be women. We will make these promises because we believe the fight for gender equality is not over, join us, because together we can and will make a difference. Together we can and will move Massachusetts in a more progressive direction. Thank you!

Good afternoon,


I'm sure that throughout this campaign, Governor Baglieri wants you to think that he and the Democratic Alliance are no different than those scary Feds. Well the Democratic Alliance's record shows otherwise when they were in government in this region. To begin with, the Democratic Alliance passed a restrictive abortion law, with support from the Federalists and the Liberals, that would punish women for seeking reproductive healthcare. I know that this sounds like something from Alabama or Tennessee, but no, it happened here in this region. Here, where we cherish reproductive freedom. Well make no mistake, Labor has always been committed to the right of a woman to make her own medical decision, and that includes decisions about reproductive healthcare. In fact, even though I have now left office, I have submitted at the steps of the General Court, a bill that would implement more reasonable abortion policy and replace the barbaric provisions that would throw women in jail for the crime of simply seeking healthcare. Under Labor, reproductive healthcare will always be protected in New Jersey.

Unfortunately, this isn't the only time that the Democratic Alliance has backed far right wing policy. Recently a bill passed the Council that dramatically rolled back Lincoln's gun control protections. Protections that keep hands out of the guns of criminals and keep you and your family, whether it be in their classroom at school, or whether it be in your home at night. I am proud to have led the grassroots movement for gun reform here in Lincoln. In fact, that grassroots movement started here in New Jersey, and then it spread. In fact, when I was elected to the Council, people told me that gun control was a third rail and I could never get anything done. We fell just short of passing expansive gun control in a referendum, but then after a short stint as a zombie, I returned to the Council, more determined than ever, and we got it done. We took on the gun lobby and the special interests and we won, we banned military grade weapons, that belong in the hands of soldiers, not on our streets. Then, we took our movement to the federal level. I submitted the citizen draft bill of the federal version of the assault weapons ban, and we got that done too. Our movement spread across the nation. Unfortunately though, the recent assault weapon ban rollback has jeopardized the progress of our movement. The Democratic Alliance has made it clear that they are in the pocket of the gun lobby, the Governor clearly cares more about donations from his NRA friends than he does about keeping you and your family safe. Labor is the party that has worked to curb gun violence, once considered a third rail, even in the party itself, many determined individuals in the party stood up and took a stand, and we can guarantee that is what will happen if you elect Cory Norcross as your Governor!

Sadly, the Democratic Alliance's affinity for right wing radicalism doesn't end there. They passed a diversity training ban. They believe that racism is over and no longer exists. To quote a great Supreme Court justice, "You do not throw away the umbrella, when it is raining outside." They do not recognize that unfortunately, the scourge of racism still exists, even in our great state, and they do not recognize that we still need to fight it. Labor will work to fight institutional racism, I have already submitted a bill to repeal the ban, it is at the Court's doorstep. Labor recognizes many of our institutions whether it be college admissions or the police are all plagued by the problems of institutional racism. To combat these, we will work to expand affirmative action programs and we will also work to reform the police, including requiring police officers to pass racial bias tests.

Bold, progressive change is possible, but sadly the Democratic Alliance is not committed to it. They are too busy pursuing reactionary, right wing policies. Labor is the party committed to a bold progressive agenda, and an agenda that is in line with the people of New Jersey. Thank you!

Good evening,

The Democratic Alliance has sided time and again with the right bloc here in Lincoln and has hurt working class families, like those here in Jersey City. To begin with, they supported an elimination of the wealth tax, a tax that applies only to the wealthiest of the wealthiest and allows for Lincoln to fund basic services like healthcare and education. The Democratic Alliance supported gutting taxes for the rich and big corporations, joining the Federalists to give a handout to their rich allies. On the other hand, I understood the need to balance giving tax relief to the lower classes and the need to tax the rich to fund social programs, I am proud to say that Labor's proposal lowered taxes for anyone making under $490,000. We also made sure big multinational corporations paid their fair share by raising the corporate tax on big business. Labor has a record of fighting for you, the Democratic Alliance simply does not.

The Democratic Alliance also backed eliminating affirmative action in Lincoln. They believe that racism is over and that representing underprivileged minority groups is no longer needed. If we let them be in charge of this region, we'd have all white colleges in no time. In fact, they wanted to fine individuals $25,000 for the crime of being accepted to a college under minority college. We'll call it the Minority Tax. Fortunately during debate the Minority Tax was lowered to $2,500, thanks to the work of our hardworking Labor Councilors. But, now with the liberal bloc once again governing Lincoln, Labor has pushed for the total elimination of the Minority Tax. Labor has also pushed for introducing racial bias testing for admissions officials, so that we can ensure that those who choose applicants can do so without racist attitudes, that disadvantage minority applicants. The Democratic Alliance has gone so far off the deep end in its absurd belief that racism is over that they pushed to end diversity training. This is training that teaches workers to be tolerant of people of other races and ethnicities. This state cannot afford any more of the DA's reactionary, far-right, and nonsensical policy on race.

The Democratic Alliance has also laid its bed in the meadow of right wing culture war nonsense. They backed a bill that would punish doctors for the crime of providing reproductive healthcare. We here in New Jersey understand that this is a clear violation of the right to choose and a clear slap in the face at the rights that millions of women enjoy thanks to Roe v Wade. The Democratic Alliance also backed an absurd rollback of Lincoln gun laws, which would once again allow certain types of assault weapons to be legal. These are weapons of war and they will now fall into the hands of criminals. Labor on the other hand has walked the walk and talked the talk on gun control and remains committed to keeping you and your family safe, whether it be at the local mall or at your child's school.

The Democratic Alliance and Governor Baglieri are a front for a disastrous, right wing agenda, don't give them another term, New Jersey can't afford it.
