Cherry Hill, New Jersey1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on NJ Labor Website

Good morning, Cherry Hill!

Well, today is the day. New Jerseyans have a real opportunity to change Trenton and fire the people who've let our public schools fail. Today, the people of the New Jersey will be voting on a referendum of DA policies. Right now, Labor is all but determined to make the second round, if not win with a majority outright.

And that is exactly what you are going to do. Send a message to the DA that their pork rail projects should not come at the expense of New Jersey students. Contrast the closure of those three public schools in Camden with the $100 billion Frémont spends annually on keeping class sizes at a 20:1 ratio. The difference could not be any more clear.

When you send a Labor government to Trenton, you're not going to get merely new building; you are going to get smart and practical building. And that is infrastructure we will actually pay for.

A tax-and-spend neoliberal policy might sound like a contradiction, but the Democratic Alliance simply does not spend your tax dollars responsibly. We need to build and renew our infrastructure, but we also need steady hands on the treasury. No more wasteful spending. No pork barrel, as they've proposed in Utah. But a targeted approach to boost public education and save closing schools. Even if that entails asking some of our highest earners to chip in a little more.

Let's give Labor a great momentum boost tonight and put DA policies to a referendum. Ask yourself if you are pleased with the current state of our schools. Our schools which are closing, falling apart, and failing our students. Ask yourself if this is the right path for New Jersey.

It's all up to you, New Jersey. Get out. Vote. Reject fiscally irresponsible neoliberal policies and cast a vote of confidence in the New Great Society. Vote for the party that supports working families. Vote for the party that will address the education crisis on day one. This is a critical time for the state. This is the day we send the Democratic Alliance packing and save public education in Camden and other under-served cities.

If you're a KaiserDave Laborite, if you're a Harry Truman Laborite, if you're a Sestak Laborite, if you're an OBD Laborite, if you're a Scott Laborite, join us in our fight for the working class and future generations.

Let's elect citizen legislators from working-class backgrounds of all races and creeds. Throw out the neoliberal backbenchers.

I know you can do it, New Jersey.

Thank you.

5/21/21
7:00 PM EDT
Millburn, NJ

Good evening,

The Democratic Alliance continues to desperately lie about their record so that they can they force their disastrous policies onto New Jersey for another term.

They are lying about Labor on gun control. Labor is the only party that actually has a legislative record of supporting gun control. Ninja came here claiming to be the most pro gun control politician, this is simply absurd. I was the one who pushed for the more most restrictive gun laws in the entire nation here in Lincoln. He also refuses to address the point that his own party supported a rollback of those gun laws. He can't have his cake and eat it. He hasn't even made clear that he disagrees with what his party did. Labor also pushed the federal assault weapons ban, an issue that was once considered a third rail. Vague concerns such as "electability" do not stop Labor from passing bold, progressive policy, nor does the concern of a "third rail." In fact, the two most instrumental people in passing the assault weapons ban were Lincoln's current senators, who served as President and House sponsor at the time, respective. Labor's pursuit of gun reform is the reason that weapons of war are not on the streets right now. It is the reason that you and your family are safe, whether it be your child at school or asleep in your home at night. Labor took weapons of war off the streets, regardless of what the Democratic Alliance has decided to tell you.

The Democratic Alliance has ignored the fact that they support a reactionary abortion policy and simply refuses to respond to this attack, since they can't. Regardless of whether you're pro-life or pro-choice, it seems like common sense to not punish doctors who perform abortions. Unfortunately, the Democratic Alliance has sided with pro-life extremists in pushing such a measure. The Democratic Alliance's failure to respond to this attack indicates they do support such far right policy. Simply, they are the Federalists in sheep's clothing, no better than reactionary conservatives. Labor, on the other hand, remains committed to the right to reproductive choice. Labor will not support policy that would force women to choose between using a coat hanger in a closet and carrying an unwanted fetus to term. We will not, because the choice of whether or not a pregnancy should be carried to term should be made in the doctor's office with a licensed professional, not in a dark closet with a clothes hanger!

The Democratic Alliance has also not responded to the fact they supported a "minority tax." They believe in fining students who are accepted to college based on their race. This is simply wrong, regardless of whether or not one supports affirmative action, they can surely agree that none of it is the students' fault. In fact, many students who benefit from affirmative action tend to come from unprivileged communities, and the "Minority Tax" will hit the poorest, most disadvantaged minorities the hardest. The Democratic Alliance wants these people to have no social mobility. Labor on the other hand, recognizes the long history of racism in this country. We believe in helping underprivileged minorities, this is why I and other have supported the elimination of the "Minority Tax," as well as the repeal of the affirmative ban as a whole.

The Democratic Alliance also seems confused about their tax plan. They seem to think their economic policies will help the poor. Yet they were the ones who supported a massive tax cut for the wealthy, including the elimination of the wealth tax. They wanted the rich to pay less and thus there was less money left for the social safety net. Under my leadership, Lincoln Labor pushed a budget that both cut taxes for everyone making under $490,000 and created a massive surplus, without cutting any spending. This way, we could be able to drastically expand the social safety net without raising the taxes of most people by a simple dime. We brought fiscal responsibility to the region without implementing austerity, and almost everyone in New Jersey is better for it. We are the party of the lower class, the middle class, the upper middle class, and yes even some of the wealthy. The Democratic Alliance is the party of big corporations and yacht owners, supporting massive slashes to the corporate tax rate, particularly for big businesses. Their economic policies are simply not beneficial to the vast majority of this state, I can't put it any more frankly.

It seems the only thing the Democratic Alliance isn't confused about is transportation, at least they are being consistent on that, but it's a bad type of consistent. Their record on transportation is less than ideal. Their federal representative supported a disastrous plan to build hundreds of miles of railway across uninhabited desert in Texas. Now, they seem to running on the same plan in Utah. This makes me wonder, what is their plan? Is their plan to build rail lines right through the Pine Barrens? Simply put, they don't have an answer. Labor expanded transportation, including high speed rail, and while I will admit the original draft was not the best, the final draft of the bill included access to big cities. I am consistent on this issue, any new additional piece of transportation built, whether it be roads or rail lines must have a reasonable amount of people willing to use it. We would not support a road crossing the Atlantic from Cape May to Norfolk, VA because it'd be an awful waste of money as it'd be hundreds of miles of road with no rest stops. So, then why is the Democratic Alliance so obsessed with transport projects that no one will use? It really makes you wonder if they actually have a plan for this state.

Get out and vote, today for Labor! We are the party of proven results and effective policy. The Democratic Alliance has campaigned on slandering and lying about our record and hiding their own. When they do actually talk about their own policy, we're only reminded how disastrous it has been. Vote Labor for a new, effective, and progressive direction for New Jersey, vote for the Democratic Alliance if you want to continue to have clueless, reactionary politicians in office, it's that simple, the choice is yours. Thank you!

Burlington, New Jersey
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on NJ Labor Website

Howdy, Burlington!

I ain't going to mince words today. Honestly, I was surprised to see DA campaign here - for all their huff and puff about how New Jersey is not Utah, they seem to have forgotten this state existed while sending all their resources west! I guess they came out of hiding once they saw our bold, progressive campaign thumping them in the polls! And honestly, I wasn't expecting to be back in Burlington today - but when the other party, instead of admitting to their fetish for ridiculously bloated train spending, doubles down AND casts aspersions on New Jersey Labor's - and my - character, I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to come back down to Burlington and clear the air.

Let's be real. When DA runs on the same old tired pork barrel rail platform across the nation - whether they're in a densely populated state like New Jersey or a more rural state like Utah - election after election, you can start to see the pattern. That they care more about drawing train lines on a map then actually spending responsibly for the people. And they can tell you that their absolutely outrageous rail plans in Utah - drawing lines the length of New Jersey to serve less people then Burlington County alone - have nothing to do with New Jersey, but they're dead wrong. They said it themselves - they're going to do the exact same thing in New Jersey, because they "love pork barrel rail". And it is absolutely a local Burlington issue when your taxpayer dollars, instead of going to public education. renewable energy, or sensible infrastructure projects, go to a pork barrel rail project designed in a South Carolina boardroom, built by the people of New Jersey's hard-earned money, and used by far too little to justify even bothering.

And, yes, there are issues of equity in transportation, but there is also the issue of common sense. It's not equitable transportation when it costs marginalized communities millions in tax dollars but doesn't actually serve the majority of them. And besides, despite DA really seeming to believe this, trains are not the solution to every societal problem! If DA truly wanted to address equity instead of seeking a weak excuse for their truly inexplicable spending priorities in Trenton, they would invest not in trains, but in education. Education, by providing both invaluable knowledge and opportunities for advancement, has been the great equalizer between wealthy and poor for years - but here in New Jersey, access to a quality education with reasonable class sizes has been remarkably uneven. If we dig in and work hard to reform and support New Jersey public school education, we can ensure equality of opportunity for students and families across the state, and eliminate, not mitigate, inequality. So why would DA want to address just one facet of inequality, instead of taking on the issue at the source with the goal of creating a more equitable society overall?

But guess what - for all their talk of equity and accessibility of transportation, they have shown a remarkably regressive policy inclination in the Lincoln government. They've supported badly-written bans of affirmative action and diversity training, and it seems their commitment to 'equity' only goes as far as ensuring their next quixotic train project gets passed. And no, the River Line does not count! It was conceptualized and built when Atlasia was still America, and unlike pork barrel rail, serves a densely-populated area with highly-trafficked commuter corridors over a relatively short distance. DA does not get to take credit for it - any government aspiring to be even vaguely responsible would maintain such an essential connection for South Jersey - and it is a dishonor to State Senator Haines and the other proponents of the River Line for it to even be associated with the DA's pork barrel projects, drawn for and by South Carolinians.

So, Burlington, there's a pretty clear choice here in the upcoming first round election. Vote DA if you want a train for every household, and don't really care about the other issues facing New Jersey. On the other hand, vote for Labor if you want better public education, more renewable energy, progressive social policy to ensure equal opportunity for every New Jerseyan, and yes, sensible infrastructure projects envisioned and firmly supported by local communities! Folks, I leave this decision up to you.

Thank you, Burlington! Mask up, stay safe, and vote Labor up and down the ballot tonight!

Woodbridge Township, New Jersey
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on NJ Labor Website

Good day, Woodbridge Township!

As more and more folks get vaccinated from Atlasia's abundant supply - thanks to the strong leadership of Labor administrations that have expedited efficient, equitable vaccine distribution - we are at last beginning to put the COVID-19 pandemic behind us. It has certainly been a difficult time for many - especially for young folks forced to coop up on Zoom with minimal social interaction for over 14 months. We've seen an increase in mental health issues among schoolchildren, and more alarmingly, we've seen a lack of support systems let many of these students to sink through the cracks. We can't have a government in Trenton that allows this to continue. We can't continue to allow public school students to struggle with no outside help or guidance.

That's why a key plank of Labor's plan to revitalize public education here in New Jersey is improved mental health support networks, in every school across the state. It is absolutely essential that we eliminate the stigma of struggling with depression, social anxiety, and other mental health issues, and that we provide every student in this state with the opportunity to receive confidential counseling and treatment through the school they intend, instead of potentially expensive private treatments that not every family can afford. New Jersey Labor is committed to investing in the hiring of qualified counselors, the training of teachers and other educational officials to better understand and handle mental health issues in the classroom, and to ensure that every student attending a New Jersey public school has the ability to - and is not afraid to - seek help and support from a trusted adult figure.

And, we're going to do even more to make New Jersey a national leader in education. We're going to invest in struggling schools, and actively work to keep them open, staffed, and running. And, we're going to work with school districts, teachers, and parental input to ensure every student has equal access to a comprehensive, modern curriculum that prepares them to pursue higher education and the career of their dreams. For too long, hard-working students across this state have been betrayed by an underfunded, understaffed public school system - but no longer! You can count on New Jersey Labor to invest your taxpayer money into the next generation - fighting for equal opportunity for success in life for all, not just the few who can afford expensive private schools.

And therein lies the difference between Labor and the neoliberal clowns currently in charge down in Trenton. We're not a single-issue party - we're going to actively work to improve multiple facets of life here in New Jersey to fight for working families, children, and our vision for a more equitable, more just society! We're going to fight for the future of New Jersey, to give the next generation the great education that they deserve. That is what you can expect from Labor's New Great Society, and that is what we will deliver if y'all send Cory Norcross to the Governor's mansion and a solid Labor Majority to the statehouse!

And now, I'd like to take a moment to introduce Woodbridge Township's candidate for the State House - Dr. Rocky Choudhry. He's a psychologist and father-of-two who has constantly been an advocate for better mental health support networks in public schools, and is excited to work with us in Trenton to make that vision reality!

Thank you, Woodbridge Township. Mask up, stay safe, and get out to the polls and cast your ballot for a progressive Labor government!

Elizabeth, New Jersey
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on NJ Labor Website

Hey there, Elizabeth!

Contrary to what the DA wants you to think, New Jersey is committed to bringing communities across the state- especially those historically marginalized and left behind by their government - together, to work towards better, more inclusive state governance. We're not going to continue ignoring the struggles of poorer, less white communities, as previous governments in this state have. We are going to bring the principles of a New Great Society, a government for and by the people, to Trenton!

Increasing community engagement starts with voting - or, the best way to hold your government accountable. We've come a long way from the days of Jim Crow, where the right to vote was not a guarantee. The vote holiday and vote-by-mail - initiatives Labor has steadfastly backed - have been instrumental in making it easier than ever to make your voice heard, especially for folks whose work has historically impeded them from getting to the polls in time. And Labor is determined to increase voter turnout and engagement. We've partnered with community groups here in Elizabeth and across the state to encourage New Jerseyans to get out today and cast their ballot, and we're hoping our combined efforts can make this election have the highest turnout yet! Folks, there's a critical election on right now, TODAY, and it's absolutely imperative that you cast your first round ballot by tonight!

And now, I'd like to talk about why getting to the ballot box today is so critical for the future of New Jersey. You see, there is one party on the ballot that is committed to delivering for the working families of New Jersey, and that is the Labor Party. Unlike the Democratic Alliance, which has only shown interest in spending valuable taxpayer dollars on trains, a Labor government in Trenton would invest in essential programs across the board. One of the most important of said programs is education. In many parts of New Jersey, public primary schools are simply not up to scratch - massive class sizes, a complete lack of support networks, and extremely old buildings and supplies have led to inconsistencies in education that often deny kids the opportunities they deserve. You can’t learn well if your school is broken, your teachers unable to handle 40-kid classes, and if you’re still using textbooks from the 1990s! And, poorer communities have long suffered more from government negligence of public schools - with the rich politicians able to send their children off to private institutions, thus remaining aloof from the struggles of the public system, they have simply chosen to funnel money that could have been used to give every New Jerseyan a rigorous public school education into their own pet projects. But no longer! If y’all elect Cory Norcross and a Labor legislative majority, we’re going to head into Trenton on Day One with the goal of fixing public schools. We’re going to invest in better teacher pay, better supplies, and better student support networks. And, we’re not going to let struggling inner-city or rural public schools close for lack of funding. You can trust the Labor Party to not only invest in you, but to do so responsibly and in a targeted manner. Together, we will create a New Jersey public school system that opens up thousands of educational opportunities to all of our students, not just the few that can afford tutors or fancy test training.

Folks here in Elizabeth know - marginalized and minority communities have not gotten a fair shake from their government. And the first step of remedying this is by giving their next generation the best possible education we can give them, allowing them access to the tools and resources they need to pursue college education, the career of their dreams, and the salary they need to support themselves and their families. So, folks, there’s no time to waste! Get out today and cast your ballot for your Labor candidates, and send a message to Trenton that we, the people, demand action!

Newark, New Jersey
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on NJ Labor Website

Good day, Newark!

Another day - pardon me, another hour - another Dishonest Alliance lie - pardon me again, multiple Dishonest alliance lies! They're trying to slander Labor and our progressive vision for New Jersey to keep themselves - and their ridiculous pork barrel rail projects - in power, and these hilarious attempts would be funny if their continued governance and dishonest tactics weren't so bad for New Jersey.

First off, let's get these character attacks out of the way, as I once again reiterate that Labor is a big tent party! It's been a great honor to work with S019 and Scott - folks that I consider very good friends of mine - to get New Jersey Labor's message out to y'all. And while they have differing political views - as do many Labor representatives - they're willing to put them aside, because they both agree on the major issues facing New Jersey's working families today. Unlike the DA - which appears to be a national monolith of pork barrel rail - Labor is a party defined by its constituents, which makes New Jersey Labor all the better fit to serve this great state.

And, let's be real, Labor's efforts to improve infrastructure have been far more wide-ranging - and far more sensible - then DA's. I personally spent two months writing a comprehensive public transportation bill to invest in community-supported projects across an entire region! And, the rest of Labor hasn't been slacking, either - during our time in power, we've passed rural broadband expansion and the Red-Green New Deal - a bold, jobs-providing plan to move Atlasia into a green energy era! Unlike DA's pork barrel policies - I mean, they seem to want to build new rail across desert areas every cycle - these projects are an investment in both communities that are actually in need, as well as an investment in a better, cleaner future for the next generation.

And they don't get to paint us as stingy spenders who are content to watch New Jersey suffer. In fact, outside of pork barrel rail and this election cycle, they've been accusing us of spending too much for the people. They've been the party of slashing taxes for the rich, and by extension, essential social programs! And, unlike Labor, they don't seem to even care about campaigning on improving inner cities until their back is electorally against the wall!

Labor won't hold back on investing in the people of New Jersey. But unlike DA, Labor is going to invest smartly, and not just on one issue. We're going to invest in a better education system, where all New Jerseyans have access to a comprehensive, modern curriculum, taught by adequately trained and compensated teachers with reasonable class sizes. We're going to guarantee a community college education for every student who's willing to work hard and learn. We're going to build on federal Labor's actions and focus on inner-city revitalization, investing in small businesses over Wall Street conglomerates. We're going to ensure every worker in New Jersey has a fair, living wage, and the right to a roof above his head and food on the table for their family. And, we're going to expand renewable energy, providing hundreds of new energy jobs while lighting up Newark without polluting fossil fuels. These are all prudent investments, not for big Wall Street special interests, but for both the working families of New Jersey and future generations. And DA'd be lying out of their ass if they think pork barrel rail can somehow have all the positive effects Labor's progressive platform will on New Jersey.

So, Newark, I ask you - do you want pork barrel rail? Or, do you want a comprehensive plan for a historic investment to Build Back Better here in New Jersey, a New Great Society that will create cleaner energy, good jobs, and opportunity for all? The ball is in your court tonight, and I hope you all will make the right choice, and head to the polls today to cast your ballot for a progressive Labor government in Trenton!

Passaic, New Jersey
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on NJ Labor Website

Good evening, Passaic!

You know, it is funny when the Dishonest Alliance tries to deflect blame for their incompetent governance. When they try to cast blame for their inaction on Labor, instead of looking inward to their own inability to negotiate. Because let’s be real - Labor doesn’t even hold a majority in the State Legislature! The DA has two other parties - their ideological kin, the Liberals, and Federalists - that they could have worked with in the Statehouse to pass their agenda, but they failed on that end too. It’s not a vote of confidence for their neoliberal train spend-a-rama that no other party in the Garden State wants to sign on, which is why they’re trying to pass the buck to their strongest competitor.

And, in fact, it is really the DA that is being obstructionist. Labor is the largest party in the State House, and we have tried repeatedly to get Governor Baglieri and the DA leadership to sign on to our signature education proposal - but instead, they refused, choosing to selfishly save state money for their quixotic transportation projects, that barely mitigate inequality rather than addressing it at the source. It is them, not us, who are to blame for continued failures in New Jersey’s governance, whether it’s the struggling public education system, a lack of advancement in the fight against climate change, or continued legal discrimination that has persistently kept minority communities down. And, I would remiss to not mention that their most significant legislative initiatives to pass in Lincoln were a ban of diversity training and a ban on affirmative action (with a minority tax for those in abeyance) - showing clearly where their priorities lie. And it's even doubtful that DA knows where their own policies lie. They tried to call us on being stingy spenders earlier today, but in truth they have been the ones attempting to slash taxes for the rich here in Lincoln and help them escape from paying their fair share.

But, folks, DA incompetence running New Jersey's government does not have to last another term! It is time to send them packing, and elect Cory Norcross and a strong Labor majority to the statehouse, a government for and by the people that will act decisively to implement our progressive New Great Society programs. At the core of our plan is education - the great decider for many New Jerseyans that can often determine what path their future careers will take. And for too long, neoliberal governments have ignored public schools, opting to send their own children to prestigious private institutions while leaving the rest of us to suffer in underfunded, understaffed schools. Labor is determined to change that. We're going to make a historic investment in education, keeping inner-city and rural public schools alike open and prospering. We're going to slash class sizes and modernize both curriculums and the schools themselves. We're going to create mental health support networks so students can get the help they need. We're going to guarantee a free community college education to every New Jersey student willing to work hard and learn. And, we will ensure all teachers are compensated adequately, and that they have the resources they need to pass on their knowledge to their students. After the painful Zoom education era, we owe it to students and teachers alike to Build our education system Back Better, and New Jersey Labor will not shirk from this duty. We will revolutionize New Jersey's public education system and bring it to the forefront of the nation.

And that's not all. Unlike the DA, we're not a one-trick pony, a party running solely on an issue that barely scrapes the current problems facing the Garden State. We'll continue to provide the excellent leadership on COVID you come to expect from Labor - building on the progress made by past Labor White Houses to distribute vaccinations equitably and support reopenings up and down the state. We're going to scrub racist statute from the book, and level the playing field for minorities and historically marginalized communities. We're going to make a historic expansion of renewable energy, while taking measures to protect New Jersey and her coast from the effects of climate change. And, despite what the DA wants you to think, we're going to invest in infrastructure. But we're going to do it smartly, and with extensive community input before we commit to projects.

So, folks, I hope you'll join us tonight. Join us in rejecting quixotic train projects, contradictory policy promises, and regressive social policy. Join us in our fight, our movement to make our progressive vision for New Jersey reality. Together, we can make New Jersey cleaner, more inclusive, and more prosperous than ever - the only thing we ask from you is your vote. So get out tonight, and cast your ballot for your next Governor, Cory Norcross, and your local Labor legislative candidates! Let's rock the vote and bring our movement to Trenton!

Paterson, New Jersey
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on NJ Labor Website

Good evening, Paterson! I was certainly not expecting state officials to suddenly push back the poll closing time by two hours without clear reason, but here we are. And, while most folks have already voted, you can be damned sure that we're going to use this time to continue getting our bold, progressive message out across the great state of New Jersey.

Unfortunately, the DA seems to be using this extra time to continue their slander of Labor. To continue passing the blame of their incompetent governance on to us. And now, of all issues, they're attacking us on education, ignoring that we have a comprehensive plan to improve public schools here in New Jersey and that they, not us, have been blocking the passage of Labor's signature education funding plan. DA, not Labor, votes sunk our plan to invest in struggling schools, and they will keep sinking any budgetary obstacle to their costly pork barrel rail plans. And as this election races to a close, it's important that we get the facts straight here for you, the voters, and I will reiterate - Labor is the party with a bold plan to invest in education. Labor is the party that will provide much-needed support to struggling students and the historically marginalized communities they live in. Labor is the worker's party, the party that will advocate for fair pay for education employees. DA is the party of pork-barrel rail, and of attempts to co-opt popular Labor policy to muster up support while simultaneously supporting regressive policy that aims to put down, not uplift, minority communities both in New Jersey and Lincoln. And I'm honestly not even sure that they know their own policy. Earlier today, they accused us of not wanting to spend enough - a major turn from their previous rhetoric in favor of slashing taxes on the rich and social programs. It shows what they're willing to do to hold on to the reins here in the Garden State, and it shows that we must send them packing - decisively.

Folks! It is absolutely imperative that you get out in the waning hours of this campaign and cast your ballot for Cory Norcross and your local candidates. Labor has a bold, progressive vision for New Jersey - but as the DA-induced deadlock against popular Labor policies in the State House shows, we're going to need a strong majority in addition to the Governor's Office to get it done. From improving curriculums in primary school to improving opportunities in higher learning, from working with researchers to improve renewable energy to building more clean energy plants (thus creating jobs) across the state, from investing in inner cities and rurals to scrubbing the remnants of discriminatory statute from the books, there is so much Labor is willing to offer New Jersey, and so much at stake this election. Don't settle for the status quo. Don't settle for the party with a rigid national platform, numerous ideological inconsistency, and a burning desire to throw as much money as possible in trains that don't actually address the base issues New Jersey is facing. Vote up and down the ballot for your Labor candidates, so we can Build Back Better with a New Great Society, for the New Jersey of tomorrow!

Thank you, Paterson! Mask up, stay safe, and head to the polls to cast your ballot for Labor!

Far Hills, NJ

Good evening,

As the last of you make your way to the polls, I cannot stress this enough, this is an election between two very different visions for our state, and will greatly shape our state's future. On one side, you have Labor, leading a new progressive direction, on the other side, you have the conservative disaster of the Democratic Alliance.

The Democratic Alliance has backed some of the most restrictive abortion laws to pass in Lincoln since the US Supreme Court handed down Roe in 1973. Since then, women all across Lincoln have cherished the right to make their own reproductive decision. Free from government interference, unfortunately the Democratic Alliance supported a plan that would send doctors who perform abortions to jail. This is an "undue burden" on the right of a woman to make her own reproductive decision. Labor remains committed to the principles in Roe and to the right to choose.

The Democratic Alliance supports taxing minorities accepted to college based on affirmative action, through no fault of their own. The Democratic Alliance believes those most helped by affirmative action, long underprivileged and underrepresented minorities, should be forced to pay a fine for the crime of simply getting long needed representation. This fine would also hurt the poorest beneficiaries of affirmative action the most, preventing social mobility in the poorest neighborhoods with people of color. Labor recognizes the damage that racism has done to our communities and remains committed to fighting racism, and that includes supporting affirmative action and opposing a "minority tax."

The Democratic Alliance is pushing a dangerous, backwards, far right social agenda, that is more in line with the values of Mississippi or Alabama than New Jersey. We deserve better! Vote Labor for a true progressive government! Thank you!

Morristown, New Jersey
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on NJ Labor Website

Hello, Morristown! Great to be here just next door to my good friend - and former Councillor - S019's hometown.

It's been a little unfortunate that I've been unable to talk about one of my favorite issues - clean energy - more. And a lot of it has been that we've been constantly besieged by DA lies and slander - some of which are deeply personal. But I'm here tonight to remedy that.

Folks here in New Jersey know that climate change is a threat. Global warming has been scientifically proven to be occurring, and extreme weather - like Hurricane Sandy - is only going to get worse as greenhouse gases continue to warm and alter the weather of our little blue orb. And for too long, the folks in power have ignored this issue! They've claimed that climate change is a hoax, or that it's not manmade, or that it's not actually going to fundamentally change life in New Jersey. And it's time for a new vision in government - a vision for a government that will take the fight to climate change and transition New Jersey to entirely clean energy sources. With oil slowly but surely running out, this change is more imperative than ever.

That's where Labor comes in. We passed the Red-Green New Deal, a bold, progressive bill that will create hundreds of good-paying clean energy jobs and help transition Atlasia off fossil fuels. And more local Labor governments, such as that in Fremont, have passed even more investment into clean energy sources. That's the kind of leadership you can expect from a Labor government here in New Jersey. Instead of investing in trains, trains, and nothing but trains, we're going to invest in a clean energy revolution. We're going to work with researchers at universities and private institutions to make  renewable energy sources like solar and wind more efficient, and to tailor a solution that is best for New Jersey. We're going to fund new renewable energy construction up and down the state, creating hundreds of well-paying jobs. We're going to start a Solar Loans Program - a key feature of the signature bill I wrote in Fremont - which will allow anyone in New Jersey, regardless of personal wealth, to reap the benefits of a personal solar energy setup (such as increased energy security) and get a lovely discount from their local power company every month. And, while this solution may not be right for New Jersey, we're going to give nuclear power a hard look. While it has a bit of a bad rap, nuclear power has the potential to power millions of homes reliably if done safely, and in densely-populated states like New Jersey it could easily give us the most bang for our buck as we aim to transition away from fossil fuels. We owe it to ourselves - and to the environment - to check out its potential for New Jersey, and that's what Labor will do if y'all elect Cory Norcross and a strong Labor majority to the statehouse.

So folks, that's our plan for renewable energy expansion here in the Garden State. And I'm gonna reiterate that, unlike DA, we're not a single-issue party! We're going to get to work on education, criminal justice, infrastructure, COVID relief, inner-city development, and so much more, but to do that, we're going to need your votes! So if you haven't already, get to the polls and cast your ballot for a bold, progressive future for New Jersey!

Thank you, Morristown. Mask up, stay safe, and vote Labor up and down the ballot!

Radio Ad
airing in NJ

Quote from: Labor Radio Ad
The DA is trying to lie their way out of a crisis of their own creation. When Labor legislators tried to get the Governor to budge on a comprehensive education funding bill, he refused, selfishly saving money for his pork barrel rail projects. We can't have any more of this. Vote Cory Norcross. Vote Labor.

Salt Lake City, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor Website

WOW!

How are we feeling tonight, Salt Lake City!?

[audience roars in excitement]

I know you are, and I think I know why! Yesterday, the people in the Garden State sent a message loud and clear to the Democratic Alliance that had so sorely neglected them. The party that claims to be the party of education and transportation were fired by their state, in favor of a campaign that's running a very similar one here at home.

When the true education record of the Democratic Alliance was revealed to the public, New Jersey sent an unambiguous message of rejection in ousting their incumbent Labor governor. And the first thing they're going to do in Trenton is reverse the planned closures that started under the previous governor.

Former President Tmthforu94 even came here today to tell Utah to look at DA's record. Well, with all due respect to my good friend, I don't think comparing records is in his party's best interest here!

My other good friend, Utah Neoliberal, accuses our party of not addressing problems when, at both a state, regional, and national level, nothing could be further from the truth. We passed the Rural Health Act when the DA was nowhere to be found. We're finishing the Frémont Rail line through to Salt Lake City, and we will expand that rail to Provo as well. We did it all without asking anyone to pay a dime to Denver except the very rich, or to Salt Lake City where taxation does not exist.

Accomplishing all these things, with wise use of taxpayer dollars and no need to levy any taxes on the people who build our economy, is the Labor record here in Frémont.

The DA has since backed off on building rail through the southeast, and I'm glad that they did, because that shows a severe lack of priorities for the people who manage the tax dollars of those we ask to contribute.

So let's stay on the right path. Let's keep our schools fully funded. Let's use our transportation dollars efficiently.

Let's capitalize on the momentum generated by last night's victory, and let's elect Representative Amanda Young as your next governor!

AD: Tax Frauds
To be aired in every state and city up for election in Frémont until the election

An elderly WOMAN, clearly distressed, is at her kitchen table filing taxes. An elderly MAN, presumed to be her husband, approaches her.

MAN: Betty, Betty, Betty, what's all the fuss?

WOMAN: Tom, it's past tax season and I didn't realize we owed so much to the city, state, and Commonwealth! I'm trying to go through our records to find out how much we owe to whom, but I don't know where to look or who to ask for help!

TOM: Betty, we already paid our taxes, federally, months ago! We don't pay any state, local, or regional taxes!

BETTY: ...We don't?

TOM: No! Who the heck told you that?

BETTY: Well, I just received this flier, from the Democratic Alliance. They said they want to lower our t-

TOM: Now wait just a minute, Betty, did you say this is from the Democratic Alliance?

BETTY: Yes, Tom! They said they'll lower our tax burden, and I wanted to vote for them!

TOM: Well, what those folks at the Democratic Alliance aren't telling you is that no one pays a cent to the state or city.

BETTY: Really?

TOM: Heck no! And the only people who pay any taxes at all to Denver are the very rich.

BETTY: So that means we owe...

TOM: Not a cent.

[BETTY and TOM embrace]

NARRATOR: Don't let the Democratic Alliance trick you this May. The Labor tax rate for the working Frémonter can't be beat: zero.

Beaumont, Texas
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on TX Labor Website

HELLO, BEAUMONT! It's GREAT to be back in the Lone Star State!

And let me tell you, it is great to have all the momentum! The polls are telling a clear story here - our grassroots, people-powered movement is on the cusp of sending the obstructionist Rich Man Federalists packing! But, we can't get complacent. 51% in the polls is enough to send your Governor, Ramsey Bryant, back to Austin, but it's cutting it close for a legislative majority. And if there's one thing we don't want, it's a repeat of last session, with obstructionism and Federalist political games galore blocking the New Great Society that Labor hopes to bring down to Texas. We're eager to keep our populist movement going all the way to a solid majority in both the State House and Senate, but we're gonna need y'all to get out, mobilize, and vote up and down the ballot for your Labor candidates to make our bold vision for Texas a reality.

And on that note, another area where your Labor representatives are keeping up the momentum is our COVID response. Strong Labor leadership from the White House to local communities have mitigated the effects of the coronavirus, and have ensured that struggling folks across Texas and the nation receive the support they need. And now, we're getting vaccinations out to an incredible number of folks, immunizing thousands of Texans every day. And, that's why Labor has changed our event regulations, to reward folks for masking up, staying safe during the pandemic, and getting their vaccines. We're looking to bring more people to these events to help get our bold message out to as many folks as possible, and we're excited to welcome increased crowds to spread the word about our grassroots, people-powered campaign!

But we aren't going to take this for granted! We're going to continue getting vaccinations out to as many folks as possible, ensuring that working folks in marginalized communities have equal access and equal vaccination rates as the wealthy and privileged. And, we're going to follow through on our promises for a New Great Society to Build Back Better as Texas advances into a new decade! We're going to invest in renewable energy infrastructure and jobs across the state, while ensuring that oil workers like those here in Beaumont receive paid re-training and first pick of new, good-paying clean energy jobs. We're going to fight for equal access to education, taking wealth and race out of the equation. We're going to level the playing field for minority communities, and turn around declining urban areas with concentrated investment in small businesses and hard-working folks. And, we are going to fix and winterize ERCOT, and ensure that a repeat of last February will never become reality! So, Beaumont, there's no time to waste! Let's send the Rich Man Federalists and the obstructionists in Austin home to their ivory towers, and elect a government of, for, and by the people here in the Lone Star State!

Thank you, Beaumont! Let's stay strong and safely get through the remainder of this pandemic. Don't forget to get out and vote for Labor this election!

Livingston, Montana1
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on MT Labor Website

Well, Livingston, it sure is great that our Labor Chair is relaxing mask restrictions for our rallies. And I'm happy to be seeing a lot fewer masks in tonight's audience. Speaker Siren and First Minister's Truman plan for vaccine distribution worked, and cities and towns of all sizes are seeing the benefits!

And I'm happy to be here with my good friend, Governor Budd Fuddrucker. And yes, it's true! The Governor did get a tattoo of Montana on his back! Budd, why don't ya show us what ya got?

[Governor Fuddrucker briefly removes his shirt and shows his tattooed back to the audience. The audience chants "Governor Budd! Governor Budd!" as they glance at his new tattoo]

That is how we do it, folks! That is how we do it. But I would't expect Easterners or even Southerners to get it! It's a Montana thing.

But let's get to brass tacks. The Governor understands that oil and gas employ thousands in Montana. The Governor respects the dignity of every worker. But he's also a man who values innovation. And during the energy revolution taking place here, Governor Bud, as well as regional leadership in Nyman, has been investing in green energy jobs to compete with fossil fuels.

Even in Montana, our governor has succeeded in limiting the powers of the oil and gas industry that the Democratic Alliance has pledged their ear to. And, once again, the Democratic Alliance is lying to you about taxes. There have been no tax breaks in Montana because there are no taxes in Montana. The taxpayer does not owe a time to the local or state governments in Montana, in Wyoming, in Utah, in San Francisco, or anywhere else in Frémont.

No tax policy can compete with Labor's tax policy, because the only people who pay taxes to anyone are the very wealthy. Those are the only taxpayers in the entire Commonwealth. And we in Frémont Labor refuse to let the Democratic Alliance continue to confuse and deceive people throughout the Commonwealth.

There's no two ways about it, Livingston: with Labor, the working-class and poor enjoy a bountiful welfare state where jobs and opportunity exist for all, regardless of zipcode. With the Democratic Alliance, you get a party desperate to spout any conceivable falsehood just so they can win power and give their friends in Big Oil control over our state.

The answer could not be any clearer here in Montana. Reject alternative facts and fearmongering. Stay the course with progressive leadership that puts people first.

West Jordan, Utah1
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on UT Labor Website

Hello, West Jordan! I'm so glad to be here with you all on a more personal, less restricted event than we're used to. I'm very optimistic about West Jordan, and I'm very optimistic for the people of the greater Wasatch Valley.

We're building schools and we're building new rail responsibly. In Amber Young, we're voting for a governor who has transportation solutions that are realistic and are appropriate usage of the state's transportation dollars. And folks, I think this is a good opportunity to better explain how our budgetary system works, because our opponents are misrepresenting how it all really works.

First of all, no one pays a cent in tax to Salt Lake City or local government. And the vast majority of people living in Utah, along with every other state and city in Frémont, do not pay any tax even to Denver.

No matter what the Democratic Alliance's tax plans are for Utah or anywhere else up for election in Frémont, they simply cannot compete with the Labor's flat tax rate of zero.

But the Democratic Alliance has fooled thousands into thinking otherwise. They have confused the people whose votes they are trying to earn this month, and we refuse to let these falsehoods go unchallenged - especially when the evidence is in black and white! You do not pay taxes to your state or locality. If you are middle-class or below, you pay no tax anywhere to Frémont.

And yet despite this, we have kept invested in rail and spend $100 billion annually on new schools for the reduction of class sizes.

The Democratic Alliance will not tell you these things, because they weren't here for any of it. And they don't know the region they're running in or the territory they're competing in.

In this particular district, we're running against an incumbent DA Senator who has been a local manager for Ben Matheson's gubernatorial campaign. He has been nothing but a spokesman for DA falsehoods. And just like we threw out our very dishonest governor, so too will we throw out very dishonest legislators.

Martin Tsai is a local journalist for the West Jordan Journal. Honesty and integrity are in his job description, and that is what we need in Salt Lake City now more than ever.

Thank you, West Jordan! I'll now pass the mic on over to Martin.

AD: On Target
1
To be aired throughout Utah until the election

NARRATOR: This message brought to you by Friends of Amanda Young.

[A brief montage of Former Vice President SCOTT is shown tying a blindfold around State Representative and Candidate for Utah Governor AMANDA YOUNG over her safety goggles. She is shown aiming a rifle according to SCOTT's verbal direction.]

VOICE OF AMANDA YOUNG: The Democratic Alliance would have you believe that Labor is at war with itself on guns.

[The gun is fired. A bullet hole appears on a target in a tree marketed beneath the word "Accountability".]

VOICE OF AMANDA YOUNG: That the party's vision lacks a coherent policy that balances your right as a law-biding citizen to keep and bear arms...

[The gun is fired again, this time at a target in tree marketed beneath the word "Accomplishments".]

VOICE OF AMANDA YOUNG: ...with you and your family's right to be safe.

[The gun fires once more, this time at a target in a tree marketed beneath the word "Honesty". AMANDA YOUNG unties her blindfold and empties her gun. She looks at the camera.]

AMANDA YOUNG: But we know that what works for New Jersey might not work for rural Utah. We're a big tent party and we understand the needs of Atlasians all across the board. Now how's that for on-target, Scott?

[The camera pans to a satisfied Scott, sporting hunting and safety gear, giving AMANDA a big thumbs up. He looks toward the camera.]

SCOTT: That's right, Amanda, and no party knows Utah quite like Utah Labor!

[Ad closes with silent footage of SCOTT patting AMANDA YOUNG on the back and pointing at the three perfect holes.]

Coalville, Utah1
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on UT Labor Website

Well, Coalville, you've seen so much of us partisans all over the state from both sides that you're probably sick of us! But with less than a week of campaigning left, we want our message to be heard in every corner of the state, in small towns and big cities, and although we're neck-and-neck with our opponents in the polls, we're campaigning in this state like we're 20 points behind and we don't plan on stopping now!

Having the opportunity to meet and greet with Coalville residents, I am reminded of my experience growing up in Connecticut, living in small towns, and that neighborly spirit that draws people to towns like Coalville in the first place. Like Coalville, my hometown has farming in its blood. And though many of our residents commute to the Valley, many have deep roots in this town and pursue careers in farming, ranching, construction, and public education.

Before Labor came into power in Denver and gave the town some much-needed stimulus, Coalville wasn't as economy prosperous as it is today. But we are not a party that caters exclusively to big cities. And once again, the record speaks for itself.

Because it was towns we had in mind just like Coalville when we passed the Rural Health Act, which our opponents in the Democratic Alliance were never there for. It was also Labor that passed the Public Education Act, more than four years ago, to keep the student-teacher ratio in Frémont public schools at or below twenty to one.

No matter how you slice it, Labor is the party of the working class. Working-class of all backgrounds, creeds, and professions. And we don't just talk about it, we put our money where our mouth is and build new schools and pay our teachers.

And we do it all without asking a cent from the Utah taxpayer except for the very, very rich. And not even the wealthiest person in Utah pays a cent to their locality or the state itself, because we eliminated triple taxation. No matter how many promises the DA makes to you, the fact remains that they cannot compete with Labor's zero-tax guarantee.

But I am concerned. The Democratic Alliance has demonstrated so much ignorance about our region, they could very well end up passing new taxes in the state in a needless effort to reduce the taxes that already don't exist!

Does that make sense to you, Coalville? Because it sure as heck doesn't to me.

But there is no place in Labor for liars or people who play number games for political expediency. We made that loud and clear by convicting our corrupt governor. Our candidate for governor, Amanda Young, helped lead that impeachment as a manager. She, along with our friends across the aisle, made a great case for immediately removing the governor.

And now she's here with me, along with our candidates for House and Senate, respectively: Hank Jones, a local rancher who was born and raised in this state, and Sheila Amber, a newly-retired public school teacher who wants to be your next senator. Both are running against DA-backed candidates as we send Amanda Young to Salt Lake City with trustworthy reinforcements who understand the needs of Utah and Coalville.

So get out there, register, and cast your ballots May 29th for Labor up and down the ballot!

Thank you very much, Coalville!

Sunset District, San Francisco1
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on CA Labor Website

Hello, San Francisco! Glad to be back!

You know, it's a shame that the Democratic Alliance understates the importance of our region's tax code. Because under Labor and Mayor Chu, we've done all that is possible to ensure a business-friendly economy where landlords can more easily enter the market and expand. That includes a low-tax environment, yes, but merely saying "Build, build, build!" isn't going to make housing cheaper.

Mayor Chu, like the rest of Labor, learns from history and listens to the experts. San Francisco, like much of the rest of California, has historically had among the most restrictive rent control policies. These policies were not passed with ill intention, but they ultimately hurt the people they were intended to help: the poor, the lower-class, and the middle-class trying to make ends meet.

So what did we do in San Francisco and throughout the state? We spoke to economics and housing experts and lowered the burden that prospective landlords might face.

Because while we want landlords to play by fair rules, we understand the role they play in the economy. And we certainly want to have a diverse playing field in the housing market - not just one of the rich and powerful.

Lowering rent control was not an easy choice, and you bet it caused a lot of divides within the party here in California, but we ultimately realized it was necessary for the benefit of a long-term, cheaper housing market where competition and markets can work the way they're intended to.

And so we came together and developed a plan that would help the people of San Francisco during and after the eviction moratorium. Because once that moratorium expires, renters are going to see astoundingly lowered rates thanks to our reforms. Building will increase. Small renters will enter the market. Tenants will pay less. Everybody wins.

And although Mayor Chu is a quiet executive, she is no doubt an effective one, and she's been instrumental in implementing those reforms for the post-COVID housing economy. It just so happens that cities like San Francisco already have the benefit of zero taxes, and that also helps tenants as well as landlords.

I'm proud of what Labor has accomplished here in California. I'm proud that we put aside ideology and led the way towards pragmatic decisions that will enable the city to prosper and reduce levels of homelessness and inequality.

It's a simple matter of supply and demand. And I'm glad to have with me a mayor who understands that.

Mayor Chu, won't you come up and say a few words?

Chinatown, San Francisco1
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on CA Labor Website

Hello, Chinatown! It's been quite a treat for me to take a break from my home in the Mountain West to enjoy the rich culture of San Francisco and all that it has to offer. This neighborhood is the largest Chinatown outside of Asia as well as the oldest in North America! It shines in a way that reflects the beautiful diversity of a city defined by progressives' fights for gay rights, for environmentalism, for equality, and now a cause that we need to rally all the parties around: fighting Sinophobia and all forms of anti-Asian hate.

The pandemic has presented a unique challenge to our Asian-Atlasian communities: the dual battles against the virus and against racism. Against fear. Against ignorance. Against acts of extremism and violence driven by some very dangerous individuals and conspiracy theorists spewing their bile on social media and certain radio shows and podcasts.

We stand for none of it. I stand for none of it. Mayor Chu, a Chinese-Atlasian herself, stands for none of it. And the people of Chinatown, and all over San Francisco, can rest knowing that they have a mayor who stands up to intolerance no matter where it lurks. And that's not just something we ask of our politicians. The only people who can challenge these hateful sentiments head-on is we, the people. And I am speaking specifically to those who have not been victimized for their race as a result of this pandemic.

Coupled with that challenge comes the rise in crime we've been seeing in every major city in Atlasia, and while we may be seeing what is the cathartic release brought on by a year of quarantining, Labor will not be a pushover when it comes to any type of crime. We're fully cooperating with state, regional, and federal authorities to get the drug traffickers and human smugglers off the streets. We're taking an active role against crime no matter where it springs, and no matter what the motive is. That, by all measures, includes racial hatred.

But San Francisco under Mayor Chu will continue to prevail as we tackle these challenges. We will not let this city be divided by racists and bigots, or by criminals who burglarize homes. We in the Labor Party understand that criminal justice reform does not imply neglecting enforcement of our existing laws.

And these are laws that apply to all people. No special favors to officials, elected or not. And certainly no so-called 'blue shield' for our men and women in uniform who abuse their power. But we in Labor don't believe this is a matter of over-incarceration and police brutality or high crime rates. With the numerous criminal justice reforms passed at all levels of government, the police have by most accounts a positive relationship, both with city leadership and with civilians.

Once again, I'm proud to introduce you to your mayor, Ms. Nora Chu. Nora, come on up and let's hear your vision for the next several months!

Vermont is LABOR Country: Rutland

Friends, comrades! It's good to be back on the trail in the Green Mountain state. The election is near, and we got to keep our foot on the gas here in Vermont. We have a chance to elect a compassionate, visionary leader who is laser focused on the issues that are important here in Vermont. Governor Campbell and the Vermont Federalists have sailed Vermont into rocky shoals, but Will Ashe is ready to right the ship! Will Ashe has a decidedly different vision for government. While Governor Campbell spent her days picking fights with me and joining the national culture war, Will Ashe was here in Vermont focusing on the issues that matter to Vermonters. Keeping businesses going through COVID, keeping workers on the payroll with good decent salaries, keeping budgets balanced without crippling austerity, protecting our environment, and of course, the issue of population trends and demographics.

If we elect Will Ashe, he'll be a workhorse, not a show horse. And he'll be the best darn workhorse we've seen, I tell you the Golden Dome is gonna be surprised when Will Ashe rolls up his sleeves and gets to work. They'll be surprised, happily I hope, to see a Governor that actually prioritizes Vermont and Vermonters. Will Ashe won't be taking time slots on national news, he'll be holding meetings with state officials to make sure bureaucracy works. Will Ashe won't pick fights with out of state governors and officials, he'll be working to make sure permits for new housing in Burlington can actually be realized instead of frustrated by red tape. Will Ashe won't pay lip service to our farmers, he'll make their fights his own. Rutland knows Will Ashe. Will Ashe founded the food bank here. Will Ashe is a Vermonter, and Will Ashe will be the next Governor.

So on Election Day, go out and vote Will Ashe for Governor, and let us win a grand victory!

Greetings, San Francisco! While it has been truly an honor to be able to represent this wonderful city as Senator, I'm here today because a better San Francisco requires good people at all levels of government. For this reason, I urge you all to vote for Mayor Nora Chu, a proven leader.

Mayor Chu is the only candidate for Mayor with a track record of keeping promises and making the tough decisions. Unlike Ms. Hernandez, Mayor Chu has never taken a single dime from the fossil fuel industry. In fact, only the Labor Party has the track record on environmental issues to be trusted with leading this city into a cleaner environmental future. From the Red-Green New Deal at the national level, to cleaner water and waste regulations at the local level, you know you can trust Mayor Chu and the Labor Party to keep San Francisco clean!

And now, I give the star of the show, the good Mayor herself, a chance to talk about her bold ideas!

Springdale, Utah
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on UT Labor Website

'Ello, Springdale! Pleasure to be back just a short stroll away from the unparalleled natural beauty of Zion National Park!

And what a timely visit this is, when DA surrogates recently proposed a plan that would have sent an expensive new rail project across - or just south of - the precious, fragile ecosystems of Zion and Southern Utah. While they have - thankfully - backed down from this project straight out of the pork barrel rail handbook, it still shows them being shockingly out of tune with the people of rural Utah. Folks here don't need 'commuter rail' when reliable, far less disruptive bus service or personal automobiles can easily serve the same function. Folks here need smart, targeted support from their government that actually improves day-to-day life - support that the Labor Party, unlike DA, has a consistent record of providing in Fremont.

Both before and throughout the pandemic, Labor has a sterling record as the advocate for the interests of working families here in Utah. We have supported an expansion of rural broadband, helping to keep places like Springdale connected. Under the leadership of my good friend Harry Truman, we've passed relief for farmers here in Utah and across Fremont. We've invested in renewable energy sources and, under a program I personally authored, made personal solar panels more accessible than ever - a boon here in Southern Utah, where the bright desert sun hangs around in the sky for nearly the entire year! And, we've expanded social security and ensured that all folks here will earn a living wage. Folks, the contrast could not be more clear. Labor, fighting through a pandemic, has constantly been a champion for working Utahns, and has the legislative chops to back it up. DA has rarely been elected to office - for good reason - and when they have, they've attempted to slash the taxes of the wealthy and reignite culture war issues to distract us from the struggles of the working class. Who do you think will be the better representative for you - the people - in Salt Lake City?

An issue that is near and dear to Utah Labor is conservation. Springdale - neighboring one of Atlasia's most beautiful national parks - knows it too. As climate change, drought, and Big Mining threaten to upend and destroy Utah's prized natural beauty, Labor will take a stand to protect your ecosystems and conserve Zion and other parks for future generations to enjoy. We will hold the line against Wall Street conglomerates that want to profit off your forests and valleys. Instead, we will offer good, well-paying jobs in renewable energy fields that do not disrupt the fragile desert ecosystems of Southern Utah. And, we will continue working with local communities and researchers alike to preserve natural landmarks like Zion, while also encouraging tourism to expose more Utahns and Atlasians to Utah's natural wonders, and to help tourist towns like Springdale recover from the effects of the COVID shutdown.

Thank you, Springdale! I urge y'all to join our grassroots, people-powered movement at the polls this week, and vote Amanda Young for Governor and for your Labor legislative candidates so we can keep Utah running! Let's do this!

Fillmore, Utah
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on UT Labor Website

Good evening, Fillmore!

Out here in rural Utah, folks know the important difference between big talk and big action. And they know that of the parties trying to win Utah this election, that only Labor has a proven record of delivering for working folks here.

I may not be a Fremont resident anymore, but you don't need to live here to see that there's something special going on out west. A region with a government that has never hesitated to act proactively to assist working folks, that chooses to tax the wealthy instead of the poor. A region that's not afraid to invest in her people. And Labor has led this renaissance out west, under the guidance of good folk - Harry Truman, Scott, and local legislators across the region - who come from working families in small towns, just like y'all. Their legislative initiatives have shown an incredible ability to deliver for Utah's rural areas. And they've shown their commitment to y'all's wellbeing on a multitude of issues.

The Democratic Alliance can talk the big talk on the plans they supposedly created, but in reality, Labor's been working on the issues since before the DA even existed - and before they even chose to stake the future of their neoliberal, rich-man agenda here in Utah. Infrastructure? I wrote the damn bill that created a fund for local projects - and you can be sure a Labor government would take advantage of that to improve Fillmore's links to the rest of Utah, while also maintaining a level head and not draining valuable relief money on expensive, quixotic train projects across the southern Utah desert. Education? We worked in Fremont parliament to create a revolutionary new plan to make higher education a right for the citizens of Utah, not a paid privilege. And, we've consistently supported smaller class sizes, reasonable hours for students, and the teachers's unions who make education possible. Renewable energy? Labor passed the Red-Green Deal nationwide and the Green Futures Act here in Fremont, creating thousands of well-paying clean-energy jobs for small towns like Fillmore while also ensuring the very same communities could achieve affordable energy self-sufficiency. And rural, small-town interests? Whether it's rural broadband expansion, relief for farms during COVID-19, or investment in renewables and energy self-sufficiency, Labor's commitment to Utah's small-town communities is unquestionable.

So, folks, it's clear. Don't vote for the DA, who have dishonestly attempted to steal Labor accomplishments and policy priorities for their own political gain. Don't vote for inexperienced, untrustworthy Labor-lite. Vote for the party with a strong record of commitment to the common man. Vote for the party that will not hesitate to support working families, whether they be from a bedroom suburb or a small desert town. Vote for the party that will lead all of Utah - not just the big cities - into the future. And, vote for the party that does not tolerate corruption or fraud on the people of Utah - whether this comes from a rogue force within our own ranks, or from neoliberal special interests trying to sell themselves as an alternate option, when in fact all their policy plans were co-opted from Fremont Labor. Join us and cast your ballot for Amanda Young and the Labor Party this month. Because the future of Fillmore - the future of Utah - depends on it.

Thank you, Fillmore! Don't forget to head to the polls and vote for a strong Labor government in Salt Lake City!

Payson, Utah
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on UT Labor Website

Hello, Payson!

A big part of Labor's commitment to the working families of Utah is public education. It is a core belief of Utah Labor that an excellent public education be available to every child in the state, regardless of their wealth or whether they live in inner Salt Lake City, outer Wasatch Front locales like Payson, or small towns like Kanab. And Labor has shown a constant drive and willingness to work on education while in the legislative driver's seat - unlike the DA, who have been falsely claiming that Labor hasn't been doing anything on this critical issue. Well, I'm here tonight to correct the record, and outline our plan for public education here in the Beehive State - a plan, mind you, that the DA's surrogates only touched on vaguely.

In this historically competitive - and bitter - campaign cycle, it is more important than ever to call out falsehoods, and one of the most blatant whoppers I've seen so far is the DA's outlandish claims on education. One of my proudest achievements as a Fremont MP was passing a historic act to make college a guarantee for every Fremonter, leveling the playing field and opening the golden door of opportunity wide for everyone, not just the rich and the few. The Higher Education Reform Act also included a landmark effort to standardize curriculum quality across schools, ensuring that more students could have access to the best education Fremont had to offer. And, Labor hasn't been sleeping on primary education. We acted quickly to provide public school districts with the resources they needed when COVID first sent school online. And, we've consistently supported initiatives to better your public schools, whether it was improving licensing requirements and modernizing curriculums, or giving teachers (not the rich!) tax credits to ensure they're adequately compensated for the great work they do.

And you can bet we're not done yet. Here in Utah, we're going to continue putting public schools first - continuously working to slash class sizes, improve access to educational resources and technology, and keep schools well-staffed with appropriately and compensated teachers - so families here in Payson and across Utah can trust in their public schools to care for their kids, and teach them well. And, we're going to invest in arts culture unique to locales across the State. Payson High is a rare school that is home to a bagpipe band, and Utah Labor will support a cultural fund to ensure unique, enriching traditions like these can be preserved. As we advance into an increasingly technological age, a good education in the arts is important to ground students and show them the beauty of the - real - world around them. As a cellist myself, I can testify to the importance of school arts programs, and we cannot let them continue to wither on the vine. Folks, we're not only going to bring these excellent educational opportunities back from the brink. We're going to take a more broad approach, and work with local communities and schools alike to preserve original, unique, and enriching programs that provide one-of-a-kind experiences to the students they serve. Whether it's auto shop or a world-class drama program, we're going to ensure Utah schools have a diversity of distinctive programs for their students, in addition to the bedrock of great curriculums and inspiring teachers to pass knowledge on to the next generation.

Thank you, Payson! Get out and vote, and cast your ballots for progress, not platitudes. Back the proven, original fighters for transformative change, not neoliberal champions of status quo and ripped-off Labor-lite programs. Vote Amanda Young, and your Labor legislative candidates, for a brighter future for Utah!
