North Platte, Nebraska

It's a pleasure to be here today in Lincoln county —a very great pleasure to be here, and to speak with all you fine people. Tomorrow I will be back in my own state for the holiday, and I can tell you it has been marvelous to be here in Nebraska, and to meet so many loyal Frémonters here in the Platte Valley. And I hope to come again very soon!

There are some people here today who cannot remember the last time they saw an opposition man in Lincoln county. There is one gentleman who claims he saw one crossing the street last night; but they do not believe him. Oppositionists are coming to be an endangered species here in Nebraska. After Saturday, I am happy to say you are not likely to see them around these parts any more!

Back in Lecompton, the imperialists are gnashing their teeth and raising up a storm. They still expect to receive a handsome majority out of Lincoln county; but you know, and I know, that the people here in Nebraska have too much sense for that. Nebraskans remember what it was like when the corporate reactionaries had control of the government in this region, and they are not so eager to return to the days of anarchy and absentee lawmakers. That is why you are going to elect a Labor governor on Saturday. And you are going to re-elect your Labor member for another term in the house.

I have said it before, and I will say it again: this election is a choice between two opposing ideals for the future of our country.

The Labor party is the party of local government and self-rule. The opposition is the party of centralism and Eastern interests.

Over the last three years, you have seen what a Labor government can do for you. In the next few weeks, I and the parliament will approve a budget for the fiscal year to come. That budget will include more money for rural improvements: more money for rural hospitals and rural schools, more money for farmers and essential services. And we will raise this money, without increasing taxes on the poor or middle classes by a cent, by continuing to demand that the well-to-do pay their fair share.

Today in Nebraska, the average family is better employed and better paid than their neighbors to the South and East by a margin of $650 a month. And we are going to keep growing.

The Labor party has been and remains your steadfast friend, and the protector of your interests against Federal overreach. The opposition offers only empty platitudes —no action —no ideas.

I will not stand idly by as Eastern business and Eastern bureaucrats swoop in to lay waste to our people and eat up their substance. To the dominion of these corrupt and contemptible interests we do not, and can never, consent.

We are going to win in Nebraska. And we are going to keep winning until every inch of the commonwealth is colored red —the color of Labor, of liberty, and Lincoln!

Speech in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, PA at socially distanced event, speech is also live-streamed on Montgomery County Labor Party, Pennsylvania Labor Party, and federal Labor Party websites

Good evening,

Labor has always been committed to fighting for the values we cherish here in Pennsylvania. We will work tirelessly to defend our gun control laws, which keep you safe, and which the Federalists so desperately want to repeal. We will work to protect access to abortion, while the Federalists would pass a personhood bill, effectively making abortion illegal. Labor will also invest in education and invest in public schools, here in Montgomery County, over in Delaware County around 30 minutes south, and across not just Southeast Pennsylvania, but across the whole state. We will also remain committed to creating thousands of new jobs in green energy, jobs that we want to be created right here in Pennsylvania. Labor also has a plan for infrastructure. We have a plan to fund much needed maintenance for the Pennsylvania Turnpike, I-95 and other major thoroughfares here in Southeast Pennsylvania. Labor is the party that will fight for you here in Southeast Pennsylvania, and those of you all across Pennsylvania.

Thank you!

Radio Ad "Reactionary Agenda" to air in Chicago

Narrator: You may have seen those ads from the Federalists painting things in a bright light, but let's set the facts straight

Narrator: The Federalists oppose funding for Planned Parenthood, a critical health service that provides access to reproductive healthcare for millions of women here in Chicago, they also would severely limit access to reproductive healthcare for millions here in Chicago.

Narrator: The Federalists are opposed to gun control, and want to allow dangerous criminals to walk around in the streets and allow them to possibly hurt you and your family.

Narrator: The Federalists want to gut government programs that thousands of Chicagoans depend on, to pay for tax cuts for their rich donor friends.

Narrator: With this reactionary agenda, how can we ever trust the Federalists to look out for our interests?

Speech in Scranton, Pennsylvania

"It's a pleasure to be here today in this amazing working class town. The real work to make this country great happens here, and the Labor Party is the party that is fighting for you.

(...)
The Labor Party believes the minimum wage should be periodically raised. You should be able to support your family on your income. The Federalists would like to see you starve. We want to see people lifted out of poverty.

(...)
The Labor Party believes in a strong response to the Coronavirus. We can come back better than ever if we take this seriously. The Labor Party continues to support key testing, vaccination, and prevention efforts.

(...)

The Labor Party will keep your school-age children safe from the latest mass shooting. Pericles passed a critical assault weapons ban as President that has already saved thousands of lives and saves more lives each and every day. Federalists would seek to repeal it, leaving your children at risk of a gunshot.

(...)

The Labor Party takes climate change seriously. We will continue to invest in renewable energy and innovate to create new jobs to replace the jobs of the past. The Labor Party understands that this planet needs aggressive action to be saved. The Federalist Party believes climate change is a hoax.

Thank you!

Duval County, Florida
Socially distanced event, masks mandatory, held outdoors
Thank you for having me in Jacksonville. I really appreciate you coming out today, showing your support, and showing that you care. I believe that on Saturday, Florida will set the path for the nation and again help the whole nation unleash its full potential. You know these elections matter, and this is your chance to decide what kind of state you want to live in. Today, I want to discuss opportunity, and how a Labor government will increase it.

Firstly, I want to make one thing clear. We applaud success. Hard work and free markets make Florida great. The Atlasian dream is a unique promise, and one that we must honour. We need ground rules in place so that free markets can serve working people effectively. We need government support to give people a helping hand when they need it. Labor has massively reduced child poverty federally with my Child Tax Credit bill, and that is the kind of approach we will bring to state government. Now, every child will have the opportunity to succeed. A part of this is making the welfare system less punitive. The Federalist Party believes that government support makes people lazy, but we know that when you need help, the government should be there. We reject the neoliberal ideology that has hurt the vulnerable in our society.

Similarly, we will protect our frontline public services, and in fact boost them. There will be no cuts to police, health, schools, and infrastructure. The Federalists cannot credibly make the same pledge. Labor will further support working Floridians by passing a stimulus bill immediately, with tax relief for low and average income earners. If we get in, the state minimum wage is going up. It's time we reject the baseless neoliberal idea that minimum wage increases hurt the economy. Putting money in the hands of working Floridians will help our economy far more than enriching those at the very top.

A key example of how we will build back better is that in our recovery plan, we will invest in thousands of green jobs across the state and in Jacksonville. We will massively boost the renewable energy industry in Florida. This will take this great state into the future again, and enable us to be at the forefront, leading Atlasia and the world. It will be a huge boost too for brand Florida, if this can be the clean, green, booming Sunshine state. The very name points us to where we should be getting energy from, and where the jobs of the future will be coming from. It will also protect Floridians from the dire threat of climate change. Like with Covid, acting early is far better than acting late. It is the same exponential curve, even if it's spread over years instead of days. We have flattened one curve and we will flatten the next one too, creating jobs and hope along the way.

Labor is the party of prosperity. We are the party that ensures that if you work hard, you can get ahead. Your prospects will not be defined from birth, you will not be trapped into low incomes but be free to unleash your full potential. That is the Atlasian dream and with a Labor government, from Sunday onwards it will be the Florida reality. We will be there for you, Labor is on your side. So let's reject the neoliberal trickle down ideology, vote for the approach that works and is grounded in evidence-the Labor approach. On Saturday, every vote counts. You can make the change you want to see. So please, get out and vote.

Quote from: Sea-to-Sky PAC
Right now, we're in the greatest crisis this nation has faced since World War II. Every day, COVID claims another life. Every day, we draw closer to a climate crisis the likes of which this world has never seen. Every day, working-class Atlasians faces trial after trial, from lack of food security to pervasive racial discrimination. It's clear, Atlasia - now is not a time for vague, feel-good platitudes and nearly nonexistent plans for governing. We need the strong, stable leadership that Labor provides to see these crises through. Vote Labor. Stick with proven leadership.

Lake Charles, Louisiana
Socially distanced event, masks mandatory, streamed live on LA Labor website

Bonjour, Lake Charles! Great to back in historic Acadiana!

There's a lot of history here in Southwestern Louisiana - English, French, and Creole cultures intermingle here in a melting pot unlike anything else in the world. That's why Louisiana Labor is committed to taking decisive action against climate change and sea-level rise to ensure not only that the property of Louisianans is protected, but that Acadiana's unique, centuries-old culture can continue to be preserved.

Every day in Louisiana, a football field of land is lost to sea-level rise, and as runaway global warming will intensify as this decade goes on, Lake Charles could soon become Bay Charles as thousands of working-class Louisianans will be forced to flee their homes and move inland. As one of the lowest-lying states in the Union, Louisianans cannot afford continued inaction from their government.

A Labor government in Baton Rouge would work tirelessly to protect y'all from this nightmare scenario. This comes in many forms - for one, they'll pursue renewable energy solutions for urban and rural communities alike, reducing harmful greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to global warning.  They'll work to develop new wind and solar energy infrastructure that will one day power every household in the Louisiana countryside, and they'll help fund and ensure the safety of nuclear power projects. And, Louisiana Labor has a comprehensive plan to help fight against the sea-level rise that even the most vigorous of renewable energy transitions cannot prevent - they'll invest in levee construction and repairs that'll protect waterside towns like Lake Charles, while also crafting disaster management and housing plans that will ensure that no Louisianan is left behind if -or when - another Hurricane Katrina strikes the Gulf Coast.

There's no time left to waste, Lake Charles - Louisiana's state government must act proactively to protect your town, your property, and your livelihoods by fighting the effects of climate change. The status quo is NOT good enough! Remember to vote Labor this week, for a government for and by the people!

Kissimmee, Florida
socially distanced event, masks mandatory, streamed live on FL Labor website

Hello, Kissimmee!

When I was younger, I had the privilege to visit DisneyWorld for a weekend of fun and magic - and countless Atlasians from states as far-flung as Hawai'i and Maine have shared in the magical experience of DisneyWorld. However, as we've seen over the past months of the COVID pandemic, this magic hasn't permeated beyond Lake Buena Vista's borders.

For too long, the politicians in Tallahassee have taken working-class Floridians for granted, and their lax policies have made the coronavirus pandemic even worse for folks like y'all. Poorer communities of color have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic, as service-industry jobs evaporate, children are left without reliable schooling, and rent payment becomes even more of a struggle. To just barely scrape a living, brave parents have been forced to expose themselves to a deadly virus, while the billionaires in Mar-a-Lago relax in their ever-growing vaults of cash. This is not acceptable!

Florida Labor is committed to fighting for working-class families up and down this great state. We won't hesitate to take on the big-business donors and interests to fight for your basic rights. A Labor government will immediately take action to ensure that working-class Floridians are cared for - whether it's through investing in inner-city business and education, eliminating food deserts, protecting working families from unjust eviction, and continuing to protect our most vulnerable from the coronavirus. Kissimmee, we can bring the magic back, by electing a government that fights for all of us, not just a few at the top. The conservative Jim Crow state governments that have long been a hallmark of the South must be no more - it's time for a government for and by the people!

In Texas, Missouri, Louisiana, and now Florida - there's a movement building. A movement for a New South, where every Southerner has equal opportunities and protections under the law, where a kid who's father works the night shift at DisneyWorld can get a quality public education and achieve their Atlasian Dream, instead of getting lost in a broken, dysfunctional system. And with your support, we'll take this movement to Tallahassee! Thank you!

A historic public health crisis. A racial reckoning. These are the issues Chicago faces today. Now is not the time to vote in conservative Federalists who don't have the guts to take on the broken system. Chicago deserves better - a better criminal justice system and a government that protects Chicagoans from COVID instead of exposing them to it. Vote Labor. Reject do-nothing conservatism.

Miami, Florida

socially distanced event, masks mandatory, streamed live on FL Labor website

Buenos noches, Miami!

Just west of this great city lies one of Atlasia's most beautiful natural landmarks - the Everglades National Park. This scenic wetland is home to abundant endangered wildlife, providing species like the West Indian Manatee, the Florida panther, and - of course - the alligator, a unique habitat. But, due to pollution and the worsening specter of climate change, the Everglades are under attack from all sides, and this critical ecosystem and popular tourist destination could soon become a figment of the past if action is not taken. South Florida, we can't allow this to happen!

The Florida Labor Party is staunchly for preserving the Everglades and the beloved wildlife within. If y'all send a Labor majority to Tallahassee this November, we'll take immediate action to protect the Everglades while leading efforts to transition Florida to climate-friendly renewable energy. We'll insure the tenets of the 1995 Everglades Forever Act are enforced - holding big polluters responsible and investing in projects and research to improve water quality across South Florida. We'll work with the National Park Service to ensure that the Everglades retain its natural beauty, balancing the needs of the lucrative tourist industry with efforts to protect these fragile ecosystems, especially as the effects of climate change intensify in South Florida. We'll push a detailed plan to invest in new renewable energy infrastructure for Florida - as beautiful, sunny days are plentiful in the Sunshine State, we'll work to implement solar subsidies so personal solar panels are accessible, while we'll also fund public solar, wind, and nuclear projects so every Floridan family can have their home powered by clean, sustainable energy that doesn't contribute to the catastrophic climate change that threatens South Florida. And, we'll ensure that the city of Miami and other South Florida towns are ready for extreme weather - we've already seen the historically destructive 2020 hurricane season and its hurricanes past the letter Z, so it's clear than ever that South Florida needs comprehensive disaster preparedness and response plans. Florida Labor will deliver on these ambitious plans, and WILL fight to ensure Miami and the Everglades are as vibrant as they are today deep into the 2050s and 2060s.

Thanks for having me, Miami! While the climate crisis ahead appears daunting, we can face it down if we work together and elect a Labor government that will act vigorously to protect the interests of all South Floridians, not just the billionaires in their Mar-a-Lago mansions. Mask up, stay safe, and remember to vote Labor this November!

Sarasota, Florida

socially distanced event, masks mandatory, streamed live on FL Labor website

Good evening, Sarasota!

One of the Labor Party's highest priorities is ensuring that Atlasia's elderly are cared for - for years, they provided this country with dedicated hard work and service, so it's only right that we make sure they can enjoy their golden years. My good friend President Pericles and the Labor Congress delegation fought for seniors and won in Nyman - passing an expansion of social security earlier this year, a huge win for them. And, by championing a strong, active response to COVID from the start, they acted to prioritize the lives of seniors in the face of a virus most dangerous to them, instead of recklessly reopening and endangering Florida's elderly as some have advocated. After all, you can't put a price on life!

The Labor Party is the party that seniors can trust to fight for their interests. Labor will never make cuts to Social Security as long as we're in government. Labor will not prioritize the health and wellbeing of seniors over the desires of rich Wall Street billionaires to send their workers back to crowded, dangerous conditions. Instead of trying to subvert mask mandates and promote outlandish conspiracy theories on the Congress floor, Labor has provided strong, stable leadership and will continue to prioritize human lives over the interests of greedy billionaires and special interests. Sarasota, let's stick with proven leadership by electing a Labor government to Tallahassee!

Thanks for having me tonight! Remember to mask up, stay safe, and vote Labor!

Lafayette, Louisiana1
socially distanced event, masks mandatory, streamed live on LA Labor website

My friends, it is an honor and a privilege to be speaking to you today, in the great city of Lafayette, home of the Ragin' Cajuns!

Labor believe that the people in our government should be held accountable as stewards of our environment and natural resources. In this election, Louisianans have the opportunity to make this state an international leader in coastal restoration.

Restoration will take decades, but it is imperative that the government not waste a single day to take on our coastal challenges. These efforts will ensure that future generations of Louisianans continue to enjoy the bayous and beaches that support thousands of jobs and make this great state a sportsman's paradise.

We must also ensure economic opportunity and prosperity for our veterans. Louisiana is home to over 200,000 veterans, and the veteran poverty rate is second-highest in the nation.2 Our plan is to work closely with the Department of Veterans Affairs to improve healthcare and access to employment for those who sacrificed, and continue to sacrifice, for their country. It is our duty to support the thousands of men and women who've fought to keep our country safe, and Labor will fight unnecessary cuts that would hurt Louisiana veterans.

This weekend, let's turn Louisiana red and send people to Baton Rouge who know you and share your values. Let's move together as one state, and elect a government that will take a hands-on approach to creating opportunities for people of all races and creeds. People of all backgrounds. Young and old. Rural and urban. Gay and straight. Disabled and not disabled.

And most importantly: people who may not agree with Labor on some issues but are willing to vote for candidates who will move their state in a better direction. That includes independent-minded Federalists and people across the spectrum.

Thanks for having me, Lafayette! May Dave bless this great state, and may Dave continue to bless the Republic of Atlasia!

Orlando, Florida

Good afternoon, Orlando!

What a crowd!  Looks more like a rock concert than a rally...

And what glorious weather we have today.  Now I understand why everyone retires here.  This is bikini weather!  I just forgot to bring my speedo...

*laughs*

No, but in all seriousness, I hope we've got this kind of weather tomorrow.  Y'all heard there's an election, right?
That's what I'm here to remind y'all about.  And to tell you how worried I am, and y'all should be too.  Tomorrow, y'all got to show up.  You have to get out of bed, brush your teeth, and go vote for your Labor representative and governor.  Don't worry about dressing up.  I mean, you can.  You can wear a tie or a dress for all I care:  just go vote!

If y'all don't, we're in trouble!  Seriously.  Have you heard what the Federalists are saying?  They're hoping you don't show up to vote.  They want only their wealthy friends to pick the governor, to control the legislature.  The want more of the same in Tallahassee.  They want more cronyism.  More handouts for their corporate donors.  They want you to lose hope and to believe you don't have a shot at a future, Florida.

But we can't let that happen, can we?   I want a pledge from each and every one of you, right here and now, that tomorrow you're going to show up to the polls, shaven or unshaven, clean or dirty, smiling or grimacing, with masks on, and I want you to to vote Labor across the board.  Because the Labor party has your back, not the corporations.  You are the future, and we know that.  We want to preserve your right to Healthcare. Your right to an education.  Your right to a decent job.  Your right to feel safe in public and not be threatened by some mad man with a rifle.  We want your right to a safe retirement to remain intact.

I keep looking at all of these other countries outside of Atlasia who turned their back on Labor policies and it scares the hell out of me because I'm worried it might happen here.  So promise me... pledge to me right now that y'all will show up tomorrow and vote Labor.  Say it with me:  "Labor All the Way!"

*crowd chants "Labor all the way" repeatedly*

That's right y'all.  Now let's do it.  Let's say that again before bed tonight.  Let's say it when we wake up tomorrow.  Let's say it at the polls.  If there's a line (and I hope there will be) let's say it to ourselves as we wait our turn.  Let's say it when we vote: "Labor all the way!"

Thank you, Orlando!  Y'all are the best!  Debemos votar!

State College, Pennsylvania

socially distanced event, masks mandatory, streamed live on PA Labor website

Good morning, State College!

Education is important - from kindergarten to Penn State, we owe it to our children to provide quality, equitable access to public education. From the Philadelphia inner city to out here in scenic Central Pennsylvania, every child should have the opportunity to learn and pursue their dreams. Here in the Keystone State, though, there's a lot of disparity that we need to take on - oftentimes, poorer working-class Pennsylvanians simply cannot get the same quality of education as their suburban private school counterparts can. We need to change this, and Pennsylvania Labor is committed to fighting for and funding better public education for all.

There's a lot of steps that need to be taken, and unlike other parties, Pennsylvania Labor has a detailed plan that they'll fight to implement in Harrisburg. Firstly, we'll ensure that folks in inner cities can have access to high-quality education - for too long, career politicians have left these communities out to dry, often for racial reasons, and a Labor government would end this shameful practice by investing in inner-city education. Secondly, we'll work to reduce the cost of a college education. Rapidly inflating tuition costs have left many Pennsylvanians without the ability to go to college and have saddled others with crippling amounts of student loan debt. Pennsylvania Labor will craft legislation that helps fund college tuition for lower-income students, ensuring that level of wealth and aftereffects from sustained systemic racism won't impede the efforts of hardworking students to pursue their dreams. And, Pennsylvania Labor will fight for our teachers - being a teacher, thanks to low wages and constant underappreciation, is one of the most thankless jobs in Atlasia, and by supporting teacher's unions in their fight for better wages we'll ensure that Pennsylvanian educators receive appropriate compensation for their crucial role in aiding our younger generations.

Both here in Pennsylvania and in Nyman, your Labor representatives have constantly been active advocates for your interests. Instead of promoting conspiracy theories or spouting irrelevant, feel-good platitudes on the campaign trail, they've been working on plans to help make YOUR life better. It's thanks to leadership from President Pericles and the Labor Congress that the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States didn't claim more lives, and a Pennsylvania Labor government would work with the Administration to smooth the transition out of the COVID crisis without risking the lives of Pennsylvanians. State College, the choice is clear - vote Labor and stick with proven leadership that WILL get things done for folks like you. Thank you!

University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida
all social-distancing guidelines followed, masks required, livestreaming on FLP and national websites

Good afternoon, Miami!

Holy smokes, what a beautiful crowd!  So much youth!  I'm really going to cherish all this young energy.  At my age, you need it!

And what an incredible campus y'all have.  Man, I should have applied here.  Seriously this campus is beautiful.  No wonder y'all look so happy.

How many of y'all are members of College Labor here?

hundreds of hands shoot up

Impressive!  Very nice!   Thank you for being engaged at an age where it seems like life never slows down.  I take it everyone here is going to show up to vote tomorrow?  Now, now... it's OK if you don't wake up to vote until noon or 1pm or whenever it is y'all roll out of bed.  Don't worry, I remember a life of partying.  2pm is fine, just make sure you get your butts to the polls and vote Labor.  Plenty of time to study later, right?

Some of you are about to graduate.  Now, call me crazy, but I'm assuming you'd like a job to be available after you get your diploma?  Then make sure you pick a Labor representative and governor.  Because they're the best sites to put you in a position to land a decent job and start your careers.  Those federalists want you to end up at some dead-end corporate hellhole position to provide cheap labor for the machine.  They want you to be miserable and stay that way.  I hope y'all don't have the appetite for that.  I know I don't.  I want to see y'all do well.

Keep in mind, Labor considers it a priority to invest in and create new jobs, especially in the green tech sector.  Science and engineering is what will save our planet, not ignoring the problem like the Federalists want to do.  No, that's not the way.  But don't fret -- we're going to send Labor to Tallahassee.  We're going to invest in the future and in our young adults.  So just vote!  Just show up and cast your vote for the Labor party.  A Labor government will be one that you can count on!

We're also going to make expanding into space a priority.  We have a 20 year plan that I recently outlined when I was at Kennedy Space Center, so check it out.  It comes from President MB's office, himself.  We're working closely together on this.  This will add more jobs for the communities here in Florida.  We are making a significant investment in NASA to make this plan happen:  up to 5% of the defense budget will be allocated for this endeavor.  We will do this not by growing the budget, but making room for these allocations by bringing troops home and closing 2/3 of our military bases in South America.  There's just no reason for them to be there anymore.  Atlasia's relations with South American governments are cordial.  We just don't require the troop presence we're committing down there.  So let's utilize it to spread across our Solar System.  I think it's a great plan, and I believe in it.

I'm excited. Y'all have made me excited for the future again. Let's bring it on in for the big win tomorrow! Get out and vote, Miami! And vote for Labor!

Thank y'all so much!  Bless y'all!  And go Canes!

Lancaster, Pennsylvania

This event included social distance guidelines, mandatory mask-wearing, and was streamed live on the Labor Party of Pennsylvania website in conjunction with the Labor Party of Lancaster County.

Hello, everyone!

Right now, we as a nation are reflecting on a lot of things during this time of year. Many of us have faced hardships during the past few months that we never thought we would have to confront. This pandemic has laid bare the ugly truths of our world. While some of our political leaders have used this time to fight for their own personal agendas or deny the need for serious action, Labor has been dedicated to the fights that impact working people--public health initiatives, stimulus relief packages, and protecting our middle class.

Labor believes in Pennsylvania's core values of hard work, unity, and taking care of all of us. This is a union state with a long history of fighting for the most disadvantaged among us. Right here in Lancaster, Thaddeus Stevens stood up for abolition of slavery at a time when it was unpopular to do so. It is in our blood to fight for the common man. Labor's mission is to do the same.

When you ask yourself what you're looking for in a candidate or in a party--ask yourself this: can I rely on this candidate or their party to look after my family? It should be easy to see where the parallels lie. While some believe that only those at the top deserve to be fought for, Labor is fighting for YOU and your family.

We need your support and we're asking you to join us. Vote Labor in your local elections and let's get to work.

Thank you and be well!

Tampa, Florida

socially-distanced event, masks mandatory, streamed live on FL Labor Website

Good afternoon, Tampa!

I'm so glad to be here on this beautiful Central Florida day, where the sun just refuses to stop shining! It's days like these that really show Florida's abundance of natural beauty - a resource that provides joy to so many across this great state.

Florida Labor is not only committed to protecting and preserving Florida's diverse ecosystems, but will also ensure that working-class folks like y'all can have the means to enjoy them. That's why we have ambitious plans to drastically curb the effects of climate change while also ensuring that every Floridan has access to a high standard of living. Under a Labor government, wildlife management and preservation will be fully funded, and we'll make a historic investment in renewable energy. As the sunniest state in the Union, solar power is a perfect solution for Florida, and Florida Labor will introduce a solar subsidy program that'll make solar panels - and the electric bill waivers that come with their purchase - accessible for all Floridan families. We'll also work to research wind and nuclear power energy solutions, creating thousands of carbon-free energy jobs from here in Central Florida to the Panhandle. And, we'll continue to live up to the name "Labor" by fighting for the rights of working-class folks like y'all, ensuring that every Floridan has access to a quality public education, a well-paying good job, and protection from the deadly coronavirus. While other parties are content to let sea-level rise swallow thousands of Florida homes whole, instead promoting outlandish conspiracy theories and attempts to endanger Florida seniors in Congress, Labor won't wave the white flag on climate change, COVID, and the issues that matter to you - we'll buckle down and work every day to bring them to a successful resolution. You can count on Labor - strong, stable, and PROVEN leadership - to fight for YOU, and provide a government for and by the people.

Tampa, the contrast is clear - vote for progress and a brighter future for Florida, a New South, not the washed-up status quo. Think of our generations both younger and older and this state's countless working families when you cast your ballot this week. ¡Votar por el Partido Laborista! Thank you!

Kenner, Louisiana

socially-distanced event, masks mandatory, streamed live on LA Labor Website

Bonne après-midi, Kenner! Good afternoon!

It's been a fun time, Louisiana. I've enjoyed talking to folks like y'all and our amazing candidate slate alike, and I'm glad I got to see so much of your beautiful state this month.

Louisiana, and Atlasia as a whole, stands at a crossroads. We certainly have no shortage of challenges to face. COVID exposed the sorry state of our social safety net as thousands of working-class Louisianans have fallen through the cracks, forced to endanger the health and safety of their families to make a living. And, as sea-level-rise and extreme weather pose a greater danger to Louisianans than ever before in history, we can't wait any longer for action. But, the good people running on the Louisiana Labor ticket to represent you are committed to face down these crises and fight for the people of Louisiana. They have a combination of detailed, smart policy - like fixing the roads and levees, fixing the broken education system, and investing into clean energy for the inner cities and small town alike - and a fierce desire to better the lives of YOU, the folks they'll be elected to represent. A wise man - Louisiana's Huey Long - once said the following: "I'm for the poor man — all poor men, black and white, they all gotta have a chance. They gotta have a home, a job, and a decent education for their children." - and Louisiana Labor is committed to living up to this idealistic mantra, and will never stop fighting for the little guy.

Thanks to y'all, we're on the cusp of a breakthrough here in the Pelican State - the energy I've seen from our amazing volunteers never ceases to amaze me, and folks up and down the state are really starting to catch on. Today, all our efforts are coming to fruition - so get out there and cast your ballots for a New South and a new style of governance in Baton Rouge! Mask up, stay safe, and VOTE LABOR!

Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands

socially-distanced event, masks mandatory, streamed live on NMI Labor Website

Hello, Saipan!

It's a great day to be out here in the Northern Mariana Islands. Such a beautiful part of our country!

But let's get real. Inequality has gotten real bad out here. The Northern Mariana Islands ranks near the bottom when it comes to average income. Labor has fought to reduce this inequality by making sure the rich pay their fair share. Now on the other hand you have a Federalist member of congress propose cuts for people making hundreds of millions of dollars a year! It's a joke!

Folks, when Labor comes knocking down here it's because they care. We offer common-sense solutions to the economic hardship facing the people of our more recently added states. You have people in other parties going to these states and complaining about having to drive on the left side of the road! They're in it for themselves, people. That's why it's so important we elect a Labor government out here. Now let me introduce some local candidates...

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

socially-distanced event, masks mandatory, streamed live on PA Labor Website

Good evening, Harrisburg!

Fracking and fossil fuels have a long history here in Pennsylvania - the first oil well in the then-United States was in Titusville, northwest of here, and many folks here still have jobs related to coal and other fossil fuels. And while the need to transition to green energy is important, especially in the face of the deleterious effects of runaway climate change, we can't leave our rural communities behind in the process. Pennsylvania Labor understands that, and we've crafted a plan for sustainable energy that includes every Pennsylvanian.

A major tenet of our plan is ensuring that Pennsylvanians with fossil fuel jobs will easily be able to slot into corresponding, well-paying renewable energy jobs. Pennsylvania Labor, if elected, will invest in training programs for these workers, and will ensure they're able to land jobs at new renewable energy projects across the state. While fossil fuel production will have to be phased out eventually for the benefit of the planet, rural Pennsylvania's economy doesn't have to be.

And that's where the second part of our plan comes in - a historic investment in new renewable energy infrastructure across the state. Nuclear energy is a big part of this - Pennsylvania Labor will subsidize new nuclear power projects with vigorous safety regulations, which will provide a potent carbon emissions-free energy source for major cities and farm towns alike, as well as thousands of good, well-paying jobs. And, as nuclear is at best a temporary solution, our plan also calls for research and construction of other renewable energy forms, such as wind, solar and geothermal. Pennsylvania's fields and open spaces have much untapped potential for clean power, and a Labor government here in Harrisburg will maximize the utilization of these resources by investing in rural renewable energy.

So, Pennsylvania, y'all can have the best of both worlds - thousands of good energy jobs, as well as a transition away from environmentally harmful fossil fuels. Let's vote Labor and light up homes from Erie to Ephrata with clean, renewable energy!

Radio Ad

airing in Chicago

Quote from: Sea-to-Sky PAC
Jacob Blake. Ahmaud Arbery. It's clear that we need a government that's willing to hold rogue police officers accountable for their racist actions. We need a government that will purge racist statue from the lawbooks and fight for the rights of marginalized communities. Chicago, when an innocent African-American man was extrajudicially shot just an hour north of here, you came out and rose up. Now, let's do the same this election and reject do-nothing conservative governance. Vote Labor.

Quote from: Sea-to-Sky PAC
While the Federalists try to gut COVID regulations and endanger thousands of working-class Chicagoans, Labor has worked to uphold mask mandates and protect the marginalized communities that have been hit hardest by this pandemic. The choice couldn't be more clear. Reject vague platitudes and feel-good messaging for proven leadership that will lead us out of this crisis. vote Labor.

Speech in Mt. Lebanon, PA at socially distanced event, live streamed on Allegheny County Labor, Pennsylvania Labor, and federal Labor websites

Good evening,

Labor is the party for the people here in Mt. Lebanon and across Pennsylvania. We will work to protect and expand access to reproductive healthcare, while the Federalists want to take it away. We will continue to fund Planned Parenthood, which in many cases provides life-saving healthcare to women here in Pennsylvania. The Federalists want to take that funding away. Labor remains committed to funding public education here in Allegheny County and all across Pennsylvania. We want to modernize infrastructure here in Pennsylvania. Roads like the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Interstate 376 need some modernization and we are willing to make that investment. Labor also remains committed to keeping you and your family safe, and we will vigorously defend our gun control laws, which the Federalists would repeal and let criminals be able to harm you and your family. Under a Labor government, your family will always be safe from criminals with guns. Thank you!
