He definitely has come back from his "cancellation" but isn't that what is supposed to happen? People are supposed to learn and rehabilitate.

He went to jail but he came back to play in the NFL afterward and is a commentator on TV now and everyone's fine with it. People in the sports world are rational and results oriented so they're not going to hold the worst thing you ever did against you forever.

He was "cancelled" when he went to prison, served his time, and came back and started donating money and speaking out against what he did.
