The Midwest is tied at 6 to 6 unless I am missing something.

Opebo voted in the Midwest even though he is registered in the Mideast.

Looks like the amendment has failed.

It's a sad day for Atlasia when something as basic as a minimum wage fails to pass.

Or the Federalists Smiley

Fantastic news! I am pleased that the current system in place in the Mideast will remain intact and free from federal intervention.

Minimum wages have passed in the regions before.  I personally can see the point of view of the opposition; I just happen to disagree with it.

It would seem that the amendment has won the popular vote but failed to gather the sufficient ratification of regions. I'm saddened by this Sad

My advice to those Regions who cherish their own minimum wages is to watch out for those, who may seek to abolish them. At least, a federal minimum wage would thwart any such attempt, which is why I lament its failure to be ratified

Truth is that a federal minimum wage amendment is less likely to be passed because of the way such legislation can be obstructed from reaching the floor by Senate rules.

Regional minimum wages are easier to pass because only a simple majority is typically required.
