It's a good thing that there is variation in the polls because it suggests that the pollsters aren't herding. If you average all of the decent pollsters, the final result is probably fairly accurate.

been a couple others in the 4-6 range.  I think taking all the averages and it being around 7-8 right now is very reasonable.

As I was saying in the other thread, YouGov is a pretty crap pollster, and especially with Indies... Trump is always winning Indies in the YouGov polls and I have no idea why, when it's not reflected in really any other poll
