Had to be done at some point. I know for a fact the show beat out Game of Thrones at some point over something here.

My vote is clearly FS, though in truth that'd be an absolute understatement.

Watched half of season 1, will continue in near future.

Good show, FF show, but IMO a little overrated.

This.

It's one of the U.S.'s crowning production achievements of our generation.

Awesome show. Loved watching it as a teenager and had a great all-night watch party of the whole series with my friends the summer after high school.

I do think it's a little overrated by fans who consider it the best animated show of all time, but it's really inspired me as a writer nonetheless.

As someone who first watched it at age 22, agrees.

My second favorite animated television show of all time (sorry, but 'Invader Zim' is and may always be number one). It's incredible in almost every way.

If there was any fictional universe I would want to live in, it's this one. I better be a bender though (preferably water, but I'm fine with any of them)!

I'm guessing you made this topic since Netflix added it again? I actually have wanted to re-watch it again after discovering that. Maybe I'll just watch 'The Crossroads of Destiny' again if I don't have the time (though I probably will have the time). That is my favorite episode of the series, and maybe even my favorite television episode of anything. I could watch it on loop forever and always feel the same as when I first watched it.

Watched half of season 1, will continue in near future.

That's when the series won me over. I watched season one back when it first aired in like 2005, or whatever at age 13, and I liked it but wasn't head-over-heels for it. I didn't end up watching season two until I was 21 after watching the Shyamalan movie with my friend which then made him want to catch me up on the rest of the series. After completing it I became a raving fan of the series.

Freedom show.

The only anime worth watching. Perhaps one of the greatest animated shows ever made.

The 1999 mini-series FLCL (or "Fooly Cooly") is better than 90% of the popular well-reviewed shows these days.

If all the coming of age symbolism passes over your head like to the 90% of people, the only thing that makes sense is the ending.

I read reviews that explainded the symbolism after watching and I was like "huh, cool". The Atomks scene is perfection though.

Regarding Avatar, Freedom Show.

I'm currently watching it for the first time and I'm halfway through the first season. Appa alone would be enough to convince me to watch the rest of it.

Well then, brace yourself for his story arc in season 2. Maybe even have tissues ready.

Great show. It aired when I was a kid (2005-2008, I was 6-9 years old) but I didn't really watch it because I thought it was "boring" at first.

However, they aired re-runs of it on Nicktoons, I watched it and thank goodness I did. It's an amazing show. One of the best American animated shows in the past 20 years.
The live-action movie for it was an atrocity.
