So according to PPP, MI is only two points to the left of GA?

Solid poll for Trump, considering its PPP
Can you please not just say a poll is "solid" for one candidate or another with the singular rationale being that it's a certain pollster without even bothering to look at the crosstabs? I don't even disagree that this poll is less dire for Trump than other recent ones, but the self reported 2016 vote in this poll is 45/45 Trump, and the party ID is almost identical to the 2016 exit poll, all things that indicate this poll doesn't have a D tilt.

I'd expect a bigger lead with the national numbers looking the way they do, but +6 isn't too out of left field.

The fact that this is considered one of the best polls for Trump which have been released in recent weeks speaks volumes about this election.

Normally I'd agree especially on states like Georgia, but even taking their 2016 error with Michigan into account that's still 51-49 Biden.

Partisan poll for Progress Michigan (D).

Other is this:

Third party candidate 5%
Unsure 1%

Biden is collapsing. Trump is rebounding thanks to...

1. The economy (soon, maybe) recovering
2. The virus about to (surely) dissapear
3. The backlash against CHAZ
4. White people being scared of ANTIFA #cancel terrorist
5. Biden being senile
6. Biden being far-left
7. Biden struggling with his own party due to being too moderate
8. Fantastic rally performance in Oklahoma

Pick one or all, maybe.

I think it may be due to their methodology (and their heavy weighting), but PPP polls rarely swing too much in one direction or the other. So not surprising that they would show relatively small Biden leads when some other firms are showing him up double digits here.

It's a realistic result, but it greatly conflicts with Biden being up by as much as he is in other more Republican-friendly battleground states.

PPP has done like 4 of these polls for Michigan/Protect Our Care and I swear they've found Biden +6 every single time over the past 3 months lol.
