At a Handel campaign event in the district on Saturday, as seen in the video, an unidentified supporter complains about McBath talking about her son, saying she should "get off of it" because "she's not the only one that has a tragic story."

Handel agrees.

"Exactly, exactly — that's right," Handel says. "In Congress, you have to be able to look at issues beyond just your person."

Um, it's insensitive af and not even factual. McBath talks about all the issues that she faces as a congresswoman. And yeah, her son was murdered by a gun so obviously that's gonna have a big effect on what she talks about and what issues she champions.

Handel has serious foot in mouth issues and it's sad that you're enabling it.

I look forward to McBath winning by at least 10%. This district is ground zero for the GOP's suburban problem.

I don’t agree with McBath on guns at all but this comment is really heartless.

And the GOP wonders why districts like these are slipping out of their fingers by the day.

Reminder: The person nominated to take on Perdue was the first Democrat to crack the suburbs and did so in a far, far, far more Republican environment when this district was considerably more Republican and still came pretty d*** close to winning when no one thought it would even be close!

Mean spirited to say at least. If I were religious, I'd say: God bless Handel's heart she never had to go through what McBath has.

Come on guys! Once Trump is gone the Suburbs will go back to voting R by massive margins. For sure! It has nothing to do with the GOP as a whole, promise!

Surely a remark in stark contrast to Perdue's "reasonableness", "inoffensiveness", and absurd charm. Gonna be a lot of split-ticket voting in GA-06.

Honestly closer to Likely D at this point. Biden will probably win this district.

Karen Handel gives white women like her with that name a bad name.

She looks dense, a white woman who "didn't work to get to where she is today"

Only Perdue can tame the Karens of GA-06
