I think Cox narrowly wins over Huntsman (although a Huntsman win would not at all surprise me).

I think Cox ekes out a small win over Huntsman.

Probably Cox. Huntsman and him are two of my favorite Utah Republicans, so I’ll be happy whoever wins.

I think Huntsman narrowly, but this is a Huntsman v Cox race, at this point, which means that the next Governor will be reasonably moderate.

If Huntsman's best result was third place in the New Hampshire Primary in 2012 with 17%, it's hard to imagine him doing any better in 2024.

My guess is he'll be a future UN Ambassador or Secretary of State in a Republican or Democratic Administration depending on which candidate wins in 2024.

So is this gonna be the official UT-State Election Results thread?

Gotta warn everyone.... massive freak snowstorm captured most parts of Utah today blanketing them in 1 Foot of snow, so turnout might be severely depressed....   ;

Utah is mostly VBM anyway, so I doubt this'll affect much.

Total joke on snowstorm.... remember when we used to have weather forecasts every time there was an election as Atlas warmed up....   sigh good old days.    Wink

More seriously, I totally get Utah is heavily VbM.... are we expecting to see an AZ style massive dump come closing time, or...  Huh

Yeah, we've nominated Trump since then, and it's more likely the next Republican nominee will be someone of his ilk than someone of Huntsman's.

So looks like I will need to wait until Midnight to see if Cox wins....

Sigh.... maybe the Huntsman will be able overcome Cox....

Tossup... Cox vs Huntsman....

Which of the two Republicans on the ballot would I feel more comfortable going to sleep with Tonight?

Choices...choices....

Utah.... I expected better immediate election results, and *insert spoiled Atlas brat which I am loud voice*  , I need them now!

Spoiler: They'll all end up sucking up to the GOP and the state Republicans, but I can tell you Huntsman would be a bit more humane in his oppression.

That's why I have Cox winning.
