I think a transition to the new system is probably warranted and could serve as a dry run for a new warfare system as the Encore world continues to industrialize. Players would have to accept some generalities to naval orders, say "a quarter of my fleet is to patrol the English Channel," but it'd be better than very specific orders which weren't terribly realistic anyway as you mentioned.

Excellent work on the map, Spamage! It really makes the world feel alive. I would love to know which program you use for your cartography.

Generally Paint.net, as I did for this one.

I’ve experimented with GIMP and Inkscape in the past, but found those worked better for different tasks.

I've tried Paint.net in the past, but have struggled, though that is probably due to my lack of computer skills generally. I may try giving it another go after really seeing what you can do with it.

I'm kind of of the mind that mid-turn scheduling should be left as is, due to the effect a change could have on delaying the rest of the turn. Plus, in mid-turns it isn't nearly as crucial for all, or even any players to submit actions.

Though I'll defer to Spamage and the rest of the player base, and hope all is alright, X.

Decided to do a little project with the election results. Vote totals are based on some really rough research into population and turnout coupled with a significantly reduced suffrage. Ultimately each district only had about 2,100 voters.

And of course, because we are a mapping website, decided to make one of those too Smiley.

Just a wonderful update and may be your best yet. The events in Paris and Berlin had me on the edge of my seat.

Is end turn still tomorrow, or are we going to push things back a bit to determine a Russian replacement?

I think the Great Eastern War makes it hard to end the game either way right now. Either side could win.

I finish work at 10, but will have my orders in after that if that's okay.
