Turn Two starts now and will, for the time being, run until next Sunday evening.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns with anything I may have missed in your orders during the last turn (particularly in regards to military matters/the map). There was a lot to go through and some stuff may have slipped through. I will try to respond to some of the outstanding questions from the inter-turn period now that I'll be able.

Expect a mid-turn update Thursday or so

The scheming may resume. Wink

Also, as someone who has always been interested in digital cartography as a hobby (r/imaginary maps anyone?) I've been working on a zoomed in map of the game in Europe for the last week or so. Though I had to update this one with the Prague Conference Tongue

Hopefully this helps clear up any questions on the distribution of territory in Europe (it was very difficult finding whether Austria or Prussia owns Warsaw). My next goal will probably be Asia or the Americas depending on developments there. I find it somewhat therapeutic.

Excellent work on the map, Spamage! It really makes the world feel alive. I would love to know which program you use for your cartography.

Generally Paint.net, as I did for this one.

I’ve experimented with GIMP and Inkscape in the past, but found those worked better for different tasks.

I've tried Paint.net in the past, but have struggled, though that is probably due to my lack of computer skills generally. I may try giving it another go after really seeing what you can do with it.

So I get a pretty map if I cause "developments" to happen? Got it!

I'm kind of of the mind that mid-turn scheduling should be left as is, due to the effect a change could have on delaying the rest of the turn. Plus, in mid-turns it isn't nearly as crucial for all, or even any players to submit actions.

Though I'll defer to Spamage and the rest of the player base, and hope all is alright, X.

I support the proposed extension, as I just moved out of the state 2 days ago and have been incredibly busy. I've neglected lots of PMs but I'll try to get around to them this weekend.

I'd say leave it up to Spamage. Depending on what's been done or what situations he wants to bring up the midturn may be completely irrelevant to Prussia and Russia.

I'm going to have to agree to postpone the mid-turn until tomorrow. Very busy day today, I'm only just getting to everything now. If need be, I can always push the end of the turn back to Monday evening as well.

I don't mind, but I will have little chance to respond to diplomatic overtures on Monday, so I recommend that anyone having either new initiatives or responses to my own initiatives to them do their best to get them to me no later than Sunday.

Yes, I think I will delay the end of turn by one day (so turn 2 now ends Monday at 5pm PST, might as well keep it in my timezone, I can offer several hour extensions if needed). Ideally I'd have the results released Tuesday and Turn 3 up by Thursday, but you all know how that goes... Smiley

Is Blair still interested in playing? Britain is the only one of the seven Suez powers to not sign the Treaty of Versailles and I haven't heard back on a PM I sent, but he has been on TE some.

Cross posting here but the rumours of my death are exaggerated; I had a mildy frustrating week at work so would glance at my messages & follow events but as always I tend to leave all my events/decisions to one big chunk- so expect PMs right now folks!

Can we please get a 2 or ideally 3 day extension, RL stuff has come up yet again.  Worst case, I can withdraw if the constant extensions are too big a hassle, but I just have a lot going on IRL right now and can only do my best to get orders in on time Sad

I'm good with an extension truth be told I've been quite the slothful Susan in terms of this game, my apologies to the gents, I've been working on my sleep schedule getting it turned around.

Assuming there’s no serious objections, I’ll grant the extension. I am quite busy myself this week as well.
