I do think Forrest could make up the gap in the absentees... we'll see though.

Overall a very decent night for the left, especially at the congressional level if Jones holds on.

Sorry for the back to back posts, but Mitanyes beat Ortiz and he's officially conceded!

The other DSA candidates should have good shots with the absentees as well.

Looking like every lefty challenge to an incumbent was successful. Wild.

Absolutely huge wins! Wonder why Lentol did so much better with election day ballots... Orthodox Jewish block vote on election day probably?

Awesome! I'm really glad to see progressives and DSA making huge gains in the city. It's a city that has been absolutely torn by massive income inequality, it's time to make amends by taxing the ever-loving crap out of the foreign millionaires and billionaires who own the empty apartments in Manhattan, and by instituting rent-control measures.

Very happy with these gains. The NYS legislature has been a cesspool for a while. Unfortunate but understandable that these gains are all from the city.

Anna Kelles won in AD-125 (Tompkins) also. Was endorsed by Cynthia Nixon, Teachout, and the WFP. There may have been some other upstate progressive wins, will have to look through and see.
