This poll focused on health care issues; the electoral questions weren't the main focus.  So it's understandable that they'd want a national sample.

In general I'd rather have state polls too, but national polls are also useful as a consistency check on the state polls.  For example, if you have national polls in the range of Biden +10, then leads for him like 8-10 in MI, 4-6 in FL, etc. make sense.

A second spike in Covid-19 is going to be disastrous for trump's presidential re-election chances.
He has bumbled everything regarding the virus, even the most latest saying he would like to slow down testing because it (technically) makes him, look bad. It's all an image thing to him, not lives.

It should also be noted that regardless of a "2nd spike", Americans are starting to see news stories of individuals without medical insurance getting hit with hundreds and thousands or even over a Million dollars for hospitalization as a result of COVID-19...

I am pretty sure when asked to respond to a poll on medical insurance, that COVID-19 is not far from many voters minds.....

Folks the tax cuts were a failure in 2017 and the D Congressional ballot in 2018 was D+8, now its D+9 due to 45 M unemployment
