This week was a bit difficult to determine what games would be competitive given both the Big Ten and Mountain West are kicking off, but I think most of the games should be competitive at least.

Wisconsin (I feel for Lovie Smith and Illinois. They've got maybe two wins on that schedule- Rutgers and Nebraska, and neither of those games are going to be easy.)

UAB (This seems like a pick'em game to me. I'm going with UAB, as they are the home team)

Ohio State (This one won't even be close)

NC State (My first "Upset Special". I just can't get over North Carolina's loss to Florida State last week. NC State has no bad losses.)

Kansas State (I still don't think Kansas wins a game this season)

Georgia Southern (Coastal Carolina is punching way above their weight in the Sun Belt)

Ole Miss (Another "upset special". I think Auburn will be reeling after the loss to South Carolina)

Oklahoma (Neither team has looked particularly good so far this season)

Memphis

Florida State (Louisville has looked horrible all season, and Florida State really impressed in their win over North Carolina. I think Mike Norvell just kept himself off the hot seat for all of next year (since they don't play Florida this year).)

UCF (UCF has been a disappointment this season. That said, they still should win this game)

Notre Dame (Pitt's lost three in a row. No reason to think they'll win this one either)

Oklahoma State (The Cyclones are the first real test for Mike Gundy and the Cowboys, and an upset is very possible, but I think they'll come out victorious)

Penn State (This shouldn't be close)

Virginia Tech

Texas

Iowa

Kentucky

South Carolina (LSU is falling apart at the seams. Will Ed Orgeron be fired?)

Boise State (In most years, the Mountain West is Boise State and then everyone else)

Michigan (Minnesota had a magical year last year. They aren't repeating that two years in a row)

Hawaii (I admit to having no idea how Hawaii, who has to travel the most of any school in the country, intends to play any sport during this pandemic)

SMU (Another "upset special". Is this the year SMU is declared "back"?)

^ While I am not, like, predicting some season full of wins for Illinois, we DID beat Wisconsin last year and, more relevantly, we beat Purdue, too.  We played Iowa QUITE tough in Iowa City, too.  I think we will be a scrappy team.

NY Express: you left out Wyoming-Nevada.  Friendly suggestion: proofread your picks to make sure you've picked all the games.  (You also left out 3 NFL games this weekend, but I didn't finish entering picks into the spreadsheet until games had already started, so didn't mention it.)

Settle down, RINO is a shameless homer who should be ashamed and NYE is a dork.  Argument settled.

https://www.blackheartgoldpants.com/2020/10/19/21523021/iowa-hawkeye-football-former-players-issue-letter-demanding-20m-kirk-brian-ferentz-fired-bhgp

Quote
Late Sunday night Iowa football fans, who were preparing for their first game week of the 2020 season, were dealt another in a long list of shocking headlines. Chad Leistikow of the Des Moines Register broke the news Sunday evening that eight former Hawkeye football players had hired legal counsel to submit a letter to the University of Iowa.

The letter, which was not published in its entirety, is 21-pages long, dated October 5th and reportedly includes a list of demands from the University. The demands include the firings of both head coach Kirk Ferentz and offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz, as well as $20 million. The Register reports the $20M is to be split two ways.

Something tells me Kirk Ferentz won't finish the season.

For those who haven't been paying attention to Iowa Football, both he and his son Brian have been accused of racist behavior going back years recently.

Once again, Auburn benefits from a horrible non-call from the officials.

Auburn might be the luckiest football team in the nation year after year.  Except in that last BCS Championship Game when they couldn't catch a break in the second half.

SEC officiating is corrupt. We learned today that Big 10 officiating is not. I'm jealous.
