Why would you want to go from Coastal Carolina to the Mountain West anyways? I would argue the Sun Belt is much more competitive these days, especially since they had two teams in the top 20 this year

Boise State is arguably a stronger program.

Also, that blue turf they play on is awesome.

There's also talk that Boise may be joining the AAC (this has been talked about for some time, but it seems to be heating up lately).

Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA
#8 Cincinnati vs #9 Georgia Noon EST ESPN  (tbh I think this would be a cincy win but it's basically a home game for Georgia given its in Atlanta)

I don't know about a home advantage; the Bulldogs have a 1-3 record at MBS (admittedly against very tough opponents).

Earlier in the season I would have picked Cincy, but I'm going with Georgia because it seems like we finally got our QB situation straightened out.

Ball State, which was picked by only one person (Illiniwek) currently leads San Jose State 27-0 -- with 10 minutes left in the first half.

Quote
The Wisconsin Badgers captured the Duke's Mayo Bowl and the trophy that came along with it.

And then they broke it.

While dancing around to celebrate his team's 42-28 victory over Wake Forest on Wednesday, quarterback Graham Mertz dropped the football-shaped piece of Lenox crystal, leaving it shattered on the floor of the locker room after it fell off its base.
...
But not to worry: Mertz was able to "fix" the trophy by taping a bottle of Duke's mayonnaise to the base, as evidenced in his Instagram story.

Very sad that Army lost. I guess winning at football is harder than cheating on a calculus exam.

Most expensive losers of all time.

Wow, what an ending!  All credit to Cincinnati; even in the loss, they certainly looked the part of a top team.

I gotta think that Texas A&M or Cincinnati would have given Alabama a better game.

Texas fires Tom Herman, likely to be replaced by Steve Sarkisian.

*** FINAL PICK'EM RESULTS ***

After 332 games, it all came down to the national championship.  dfw picked Alabama and finished in sole possession of first place; if Ohio State had won, Donerail would have tied him for first.  Final results:

231 dfw
229 Donerail
226 Dereich, ExtremeRepublican
225 GeorgiaModerate
196 NY Express
195 DINGO Joe
194 JGibson
190 Illiniwek
16 JacksonHitchcock
1 CraneHusband

Most weeks winning or sharing first place:

7 Donerail
4 dfw, Illiniwek (counting bowls as a week)
3 Dingo Joe, GeorgiaModerate

Best weekly performances:

1. 18-3 (.857) - dfw, week 7
2. 16-3 (.842) - GeorgiaModerate, week 15
3. 18-4 (.818) - Donerail, Dereich, GeorgiaModerate, Illiniwek, all in week 4

Thanks for playing!  It's been fun.

Oh look, the Tennessee program is a dumpster fire, again.

It's funny how things change.  For a long time the Vols were the top football program in the state but had a meh basketball team, while Memphis was the basketball leader but lousy in football.  Now the two schools have switched roles.
