I think the demographics have shifted to a point where the range possible outcomes in Texas statewide races gets slimmer every year.
Perhaps but Cornyn won the Latino vote back in 2014, so he might do decent with them again

2014 was such a low turnout election year for Texas that it will be unreliable to compare to.

I could see Cornyn, at best, get near Abbott 2018 numbers. But not any more than that. This is probably the least competitive major senate race right now. Had the Dems run better candidates this could have been winnable.

The reason why Rs are nervous about TX, they are nervous about Dems winning more than 50 seats. KS, MT, GA, as well as IA look shaky. Adding more states like TX will put them deeper in the hole and there is no way for Rs to take back Senate if Dems get 53 seats to bypass Sinema and Manchin to prevent DC from becoming a statehood. Just like Trump wants to replace Ginsberg before Jan 2021 so that there is no way Robert's becomes decider in DC statehood.  It's all planned. Like the blockage of Garland

I think it's highly probable he'll win by double digits.

Biden is within single digits of winning TX, if Cornyn wins it wont be double digits. TX is competetive like it or not. This comes from the OP of this thread that thinks PA is gonna stay red
