I believe this is Biden’s biggest lead yet with this pollster.

As long as the country is still on lockdown, despite retail stores and restaurants and grocery stores being open; consequently,  barber shops, schools, bars, stadiums and libraries remain closed. Trump isn't gonna see any bounce in his poll numbers

According to their Twitter Feed:

Quote
Voters of Color Drive Biden’s Improved Standing Against Trump Amid Twin Crises
Biden’s widening his lead among black and Hispanic voters, as well as with young people and liberals....45% said Biden had done a “good,” “very good” or “excellent” job handling the George Floyd protests, compared with 36% who gave Trump positive marks.

56% disapprove of Trump’s coronavirus response, a Morning Consult record high.

Also, they have additional data, but one item they point to is likely improvement of a variety of Sanders type democraphics....

Huge thanks to loyal member of the Democratic Party and proud liberal Bernie Sanders for making his supporters bend the knee.

Quote
While Biden’s fortunes are improving among voters from across the board, the starkest gains are coming from a consolidation of Americans whose turnout will be critical in November: younger, progressive voters of color and their white peers.

Since a poll conducted April 6-12, the week that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) dropped out of the Democratic presidential race, Biden has improved by double digits among black voters ages 30-44 and Gen Z Hispanic voters, ages 18-21. He has also made notable improvements among Hispanic men, black men and Hispanic or black self-described liberals. Along with increases in support among white men ages 18-29, Biden appears to be consolidating the kind of voters who favored Sanders during the primary.

I think Sanders supporters were down with taking a knee at the time of Ferguson.....   Wink

Hell.... I was.     Smiley

btw: thanks for adding a few additional quotes from their massive survey, since it gives national angles that perhaps would be less visible in smaller sample sizes and individual states.

Now obviously even if Biden has consolidated most the Sanders '20 supporters, there is still the question of what about all of the other voters out there, since obviously 50% isn't gonna cut it for Biden in the EC.

Obama>Trump voters might be just as influential as Sanders supporters when it comes to flipping the troika (Although newer voters might play a bigger role in places like AZ, TX, GA, & NC).

Trump's disapproval is 58% in this poll. I'm shocked Biden isn't up by 15. It suggests to me a lot of right-leaning independents are disapproving of Trump and undecided right now.

That's a lot of people. Still, I'd like to see Biden a bit above 48%, even if Trump is at 39%.

Just a reminder that this was the only poll that consistently had Trump winning last year so this is huge.
