IIRC some libertarians tried to create new microcountries at sea to be left alone back in maybe the 70s. 1 was an aircraft carrier that sank with no FEMA and the other was an artificial sandbar they constructed in the Pacific. Since they didn't believe in a military I wanna say Tonga or maybe Tuvalu invaded and took it over.
But yeah, if a right militia did this Janet Reno would have already scattered their ashes and gotten back to deporting screaming, DREAMer refugee kids back to Cuba at gunpoint.
