He'll remain moderate but prove to have no spine when voting against his party. There are plenty of congress(wo)men like that and there are even non-moderates who sometimes vote against the party position because they're not hacks.

Won't Hawley be up for re-election during Biden's re-election campaign? He'll have an entire three years to posture and placate his base.
