The DJs from Songbyrd do their thing in various locales all across DC (pre-Rona), so it is not just in Adams Morgan.

Songbyrd = awesome venue, BTW.   Lots of Peace Corps peeps hang out there (for obvious reasons).

The last time I was at Songbyrd (pre-pandemic), I was randomly having a drink with with a friend, and then a band started playing, so we bought beers for the band. There were maybe 5 people in the audience, so after their set, the band stayed and chatted with us for a while. Such a friendly place.

I've had other sorts of Mexican candy. There's tamarind in everything, which I'm fine with. I'm sure they put it in their chocolate too, and that it's delicious.
