Who's your top pick to lose to Mitch McConnell?

McGrath (and Booker) both can beat McConnell with the right campaign (and things going even worse for Republicans than they already are, of course).

McGrath will win the primary, and while she’s far from a great candidate, no one is beating McConnell.

Voted for Booker, but I have serious doubts any of them could win or even keep it all that close. Candidate quality matters, but Kentucky isn’t Montana where Democrats have a history of winning federal races statewide

Booker. I'm resigned to the fact that McGrath will win and then inevitably lose to McConnell, but Democrats in Appalachia need to evolve and stop running the same playbook of the past few decades.

This isn't just a KY problem; it's a McConnell problem. As Senate Majority leader with no ethical qualms, he can throw almost unlimited pork and lots of RNSC funds at the state at just the right time. His opponent needs to have a strong lead early on the assumption that they can still poll ahead when much of their support is burned later in the game. ALG's earlier leads were real, and the close race we're seeing with McGrath right now is real, too; it's just painfully obvious that this is not going to last.
