With the Republicans using law and order against some elements of the Democrats' "antipolice" stance, could Republicans sweep Long Island districts, such as pick up NY-03, NY-04?

Suozzi and Rice could be vulnerable, they are a lot of NYPD white cops that live there that don't believe in reform.

Why not? They are a lot of aggrieved NYPD brass that lives on LI that may be Democratic, but are Law and Order.

Peter King's district is going D, so no the Rs are gonna win NY long Island.  Having Kevin McCarthy whom is a lackluster leader for the Rs is having a damaging effect on the Prez and Senate races, where Dems are gonna perform at 2008 levels

Suozzi won by 18, 6, and 9 in the last three elections.

Rice won by 23, 19, and 6 in the last three elections.

So, no, Republicans have no chance in either NY-03 or NY-04. They could certainly hold NY-01 and NY-02 however, but NY-02 is definitely flipable with King gone.

In a Biden midterm, NY-03 COULD be competitive (although the district will be different then because of redistricting, so it may not be).

As they are Republicans in the first place, this changes nothing.

I actually wouldn’t rule out a surprisingly close result in NY-3 or 4, but I very much doubt either (much less both) would flip, even if Trump rebounds strongly. Obviously this is impossible if Biden is winning, as he seems very likely to do.

Does Rice have a primary challenger? Her record as a prosecutor is, well, open to question, and her district has a substantial minority population. There's no chance she'll lose, but I could see a marker being set down if a decent enough campaign were run.

It's more likely that the Dems do.
