I don’t feel sorry for politicians.

This. But I am supporting Sessions in his senate race, because he is an actual America First politician unlike Tuberville, a weak on immigration, weak on globalism, grifter.

I feel sorry for Jeff Sessions but not to enough of a degree that I see him as a sympathetic character. He made this mess for himself.

In a very strange, roundabout way, yes. Imagine falling from grace this much to the point where you're probably about to be rejected by your home state for the job they had previously trusted you with for decades.

I don’t feel sorry for politicians unless they’re affected by some great tragedy (A family member dying for example), so no. However, I’d support Sessions over the Trump yes-man in the primary.

No.

He should have never taken a job from Trump, period.

I voted for him, will vote for him again in the runoff, met him recently, shook his hand, and received a souvenir from him. I STILL don’t feel sorry for him...not really. I really didn’t want him to run again.

Not really, he got to achieve his long time political goal: being Attorney General. I'm honestly not sure why he ran this year though. Maybe he let his ego make the decisions instead of his brain, assuming Alabama Republicans would still vote for him despite Trump having a hate boner for him (and not being afraid to tweet about it).

He's lucky he's not in jail, losing an election is a mild punishment.
