It was tied in their last poll about a month and a half ago.

He needs to be polling at 10%+ in order to have a remote chance of beating Trump.

They have a high rating but have generally been a pretty good pollster for Trump, although this month they show a huge dive in his approval numbers.  Among adults it's 38/51 (vs 44/44 last month) and among RV it's 42/52 (vs 48/46).

That's an idiotic statement.

If so I apologize, but with Spark I'm never sure.

Well, it was odd that they even had the two tied last month, so it still feels like they have some R-leaning in their poll. However, it's at the same time odd that Trump's approval went from +2 last month to -10 this time in RV, yet Biden only gained 3%. Seems fishy

What?

Even if you swing CA and NY, the two largest blue states, 10 points, that only expands Biden’s lead 2 points IIRC from 2016. This, it is believed that it is going to be very hard for Biden to win the PV by more than 3-4 points and to lose the election. So unless you think Trump will overdo his poll by like 5 points, which is a level of error that is unheard of since 1948, what you said seems a bit outrageous.

If we mainly look it at in this manner, then it's decent/good news for Biden.

He's improving in the polls at least. He's probably at 6-7%.
