Both Northern Georgia (I’m looking most specifically at places like Georgia 9th, but also northwest of Atlanta as well) and Southern Georgia (southwest of Savannah and along the FL border) are hugely Republican (in some classes I think maxed out, a few counties Dems get single digits percentage wise). I have a few questions here: 1) What are the differences between these two regions? Is the South more agricultural? Retirement based? Evangelicals? 2) What types of people live here? Educated? Wealthy? Etc. 3) is there any foreseeable changes in either places? (A large growing city? More tech jobs? Etc)
