Your Blood Type

I am always surprised how few people know their blood type (including my girlfriend, who is a healthcare worker, lol), so I was curious if it really was that uncommon to know.  Anyway, here is a breakdown of the population by blood type:

O: 48%
A: 38%
B: 10%
AB: 3%

O Positive: 35%
O Negative: 13%
A Positive: 30%
A Negative: 8%
B Positive: 8%
B Negative: 2%
AB Positive: 2%
AB Negative: 1%

(Yes, I know the percentages don't add up to 100% ... just copied the first source I found!)

EDIT: Given the premise I started with, I REALLY should have included a "Not Sure" option, lol...

O+, I know this wasn't the point, but I  donate  blood 2-3 times a year depending on how often they hold blood drives.

Yeah, and I bet they're calling you constantly if you don't!

O+ as well, and can confirm they will blow up your phone if you have donated before and don't do it as often afterwards.
