2. Preffing non-Federalists (including one of the worst) above actual Federalist candidates for upcoming elections disqualifies you from being anywhere close to becoming the party's chair. You don't even deserve a pref...

I'm sorry? Which candidate was it that was a non-Federalist?

S019. He hasn't been a Federalist in a year.

Actually less than a year, a little under 11.5 months, actually.

BTW, there were three choices...I ranked them in order of my preference, as the process allows for.  You had your vote, and I had mine.  If I made a mistake, it was mine alone.  Unless you're whipping votes in a major election, and/or designated as the whip, don't tell me (although you may suggest) how to vote.  And get off your high horse.

If you are trying to lead the party as a true conservative, throwing a preference to S019 is no way to do it. If you wanted to lead the party, I shouldn't have to tell you not to vote for him.

I still have quite a few conservative views. For instance, I'm in favor of curfews, opposed to drug legalization, in favor of sin taxes, etc. Also it's irrelevant to Atlasia, but I'm still quite right-wing on foreign policy. I'm also opposed to marijuana legalization, which I know is a big issue on the right. I'm not this extreme leftist that you think I am, I think we still have enough crossover between our views, for me to be a viable candidate for your endorsement.

You do realize I hope why citing this with Fhtagn is probably not going to work?

Just about everything you listed has nothing in common with the vast majority of the Atlasian right.

Extreme authoritarianism and radical prohibitionism are not at all in line with my views and they do not align with the views of the members of this party very much at all. Radical authoritarianism is certainly not in line with the ideology of this party's libertarian or libertarian-leaning members in particular.

Furthermore, I assume the gentleman from New Jersey means hawkish foreign policy when he describes being "right-wing" on the issue but the right and left spectrum is usually reserved to economic issues.

This is the list of who voted for whom. Can someone review these allocations and counts before I finalize them.

Council and CoD are problematic here, because of the way the bylaws are written, it states that a majority must not vote against a candidate, and a two-thirds majority must not vote against them if they are a Fed. I counted blanks and abstains as no's and this meant that since Tmth was a Fed when the vote ended, he just barely gets nominated while Laki just barely loses.

I challenge that blanks and abstains are counted as no's, for the purpose of counting, I'd prefer that the chair does not count them at all, and only counts those who voted. If the current count stands, I am looking into additional actions that can be taken. Another proposed remedy is to hold a do-over vote for the positions in question.

The bylaws require me to count the nos, because they are yes, no under the rules not IRV. This was the rule change spearheaded by ASV last summer. Therefore if you mark the candidate, it is counted as a yes, if you don't mark the candidate it is counted as a no.

Quote
4. Regional legislature elections. Not more than four weeks prior to the election, a declaration period shall be called for regional legislative elections occurring over that given period. At the conclusion of the declaration period, a primary election shall be held for these respective legislatures. A yes/no vote on endorsement shall be held for each individual candidate. A candidate from another party shall be endorsed unless a majority of votes are cast against endorsing them, while a candidate who is a member of the Federalist party shall be endorsed unless 2/3rds of votes are cast against endorsing them.

I also stated as much in the ballot itself:
A candidate must be preferenced by a majority of those voting to be nominated per the rules. NOTA cancels out the other preferences.

What you prefer is irrelevant. Go find something better to do with your time.

As I said at the time a straight yes/no vote on each individual candidate would be a better way of choosing endorsements for non-House of Reps races. Whether you preference someone or not is a somewhat counter-intuitive method for voting, and I'm sure would trip up some who fail to read your advice properly.

I am so sick and tired of getting F2%@ over by getting stuck between you and S019. You guys aren't even Feds anymore an I am still getting screwed because of you two.

Also I am so sick of these arcane as bylaws implemented because people didn't like the results of the last round of primaries. Once again I am getting doubled over a barrel, despite the fact that I warned against it at the time that it was not good procedure to determine procedures that way then and I still feel that way.

Like it or not these are the rules you helped to bring about, if you or S019 don't like how I interpret them, then I suggest you make changes in your own parties to reflect your preferred arrangements. I sure as hell intend to strip this bullcrap as soon as possible.

Sir, I gave you my first preference when you ran for House because I agreed with your policy platform.

However, you left this party. You are mocking this party, now. What you proposed when you ran for the leadership of this party was just nice words and/or what was already being done. Please, sir, if you have nothing useful to contribute to our party's convention, do the civil thing, and begone.

I also offered him a position in the leadership, actually delivering on the same proposal he offered me in the campaign.
