FWIW (and it is worth very little), these guys have had Trump up by 2-3 here in the past.

Biden 49
Trump 46

Can the Pod Save America guys really not afford a better pollster than Change?

Considering Change has been bullish on Trump recently, a Biden +3 result is pretty good.

Change Research has been pretty unfavorable to Biden compared to other pollsters this entire cycle.

Change is trash, but this is quite interesting - Biden's margins grow a good amount when you add Klobuchar, or especially Harris into the mix as VP:

H2H:

Biden 49 - Trump 46

Biden/Whitmer 49 - Trump/Pence 47

Biden/Abrams 46 - Trump/Pence 48

Biden/Klobuchar 50 - Trump/Pence 45

Bden/Warren 47 - Trump/Pence 47

Biden/Harris 51 - Trump/Pence 43

Whitmer doing so poorly in her home state is surprising. It looks like she would not be a good VP pick. Harris doing so well is also surprising.

That said, I doubt the VP choice matters as much as this poll suggests it does.

Harris seems to be the only one that makes a difference outside of the MOE.

The VP choice mattering this much is, of course, utter nonsense, but it is nonetheless interesting that Whitmer underperforms Harris and Klobuchar in her home state. It is also underscores the fact that Harris is probably a very solid choice. She's not really gonna scare many people away from the ticket.

What annoys me most about these polls is:

A) The media/organization who paid for them act as if they are the only polls that exist.

b) They treat them as if they are the absolute truth.

Another couple of stunts like this and her Approvals will tank!

This is sooo wrong from these State Officials doing draconian sanctions and then don't abide them themselves.

BTW, I would have said the same thing if its a GOP Governor. It's just wrong in General!

*Brietbart*. This is a nothingburger and no one except the usual crowd will find it worthwhile. She is popular for her COVID-19 response and that is what matters right now.

That poll is not credible. No way in hell her disapproval is not higher than 40.Trust me I live here she is not popular. Everyone wants the gyms open. Also if you compare her #s to Cuomo, Dewine or almost any other governor they are lower. She will not be re-elected. 1 termer

I think she & Governor Evers are the most likely Governors to lose in 2022 no matter if it's a Trump or Biden Midterm. Whitmer is a complete fluke just like Senator Heitkamp was in ND.

Biden leads every one of the Michigan polls in the RCP database.  Their average is Biden +5.5.  But you know more than every pollster, right?

Do you have anything to base such a ridiculous claim on? How, in any way, does Whitmer compare to  Heitkamp? Were 2002 and 2006 also flukes? Just any election outcome you don't like?
