Who becomes mayor of the island of Oahu? I would imagine Colleen Hanabusa or Kymberly Pine. John Carroll and Rick Blangiardi are the GOP contenders for the nomination.

Tend to agree generally. But filing deadline is 2 weeks away, so - surprises are still possible....

The runoff might be D vs. D (Hanabusa vs. Pine).

IIRC - Pine is Indie. And in the past - Republican (probably - of moderate stripe).

May be. But, as i said, her roots are in moderate Republicanism, which, with Trump ascendance, turned into Independence, and then - .....
