I don't have one. Never had actually. I'm not good in flirting. I never go out. I don't meet a lot of people. I'm an introvert. I have kissed a girl once though, but that was without passion, at least from my side. She was an experienced kisser. I would love to have a relationship but I don't want to force on. It just didn't happen yet for me.

I'd like to, but I never have, and I'm completely unpalatable in a romantic fashion. Even ignoring the fact that I'm not exactly known for my good looks or personality, being trans makes finding a woman whose standards are low enough to be with me basically impossible.

Yes, and I'm very thankful for it. We fit like a glove, and I gained both a life partner and a best friend.

Your attitude is fine, you can't force it, it'll eventually come if you try meeting different people Smiley

To answer the question: no.

And I’m not really interested in a relationship either.

I’m way too cringe for any girl.

I’m damaged goods because of some things that happened to me in my childhood. I can’t trust and I can’t get close emotionally and trying to have a relationship without those two things is like trying to bake a cake without flour and sugar. It’s just not going to work. I forgave my abuser but I still have anger towards him for sentencing me to a life of singleness.

I'm married brah

Let me give u some advice.

When social distancing is over, u go out to places right? and find a woman u want to get with.

and just walk right up to her and ask what her favorite color is. and when she responds say "omg me too!" and then say "I think ur really cute, can I have ur number?"

it works a lot more than u would think, that is what I used to do all the time.

Yes, I do have. We first met in 2011, separated in 2013 and reunited two two years later.

I'm curious why an above average number of posters appear to be single or didn't have a love relationship at all. Is there a sociological explanation for it? Being interested in a specific topic such as politics, elections or history actually shouldn't be the answer, since almost anyone has at least one passion in life. And this one isn't even outside the mainstream. I even bet the average poster is more educated than the average population, and intelligence is more attractive than stupidity (though I've read newspaper reports citing studies that found academics are less likely to be in a relationship).

I've married two different, attractive women.  And dated (and "dated") a fair bit in between.  I'm not that different from you lot.  People I'm attracted to make me nervous, complicated emotions like love are difficult to handle and failure seems so permanent.  My own wife makes me nervous sometimes (the first one was worse).  If you want to meet women*, go to where they are.  What do you like to do?  Go to where people do that in groups and just be cool.  Don't try to be cool, don't flirt, just be cool, be competent, be funny if you can and do NOT be ass.  In time, they'll come to you.

*if you're after men, well that's generally much easier to achieve.  (Most) men are easy.

In between relationships at the moment. I go through cycles of "don't care, maybe, I really need a girlfriend" when I'm single. ATM I'm actively thinking about getting a girlfriend, whether it's a nice girl who wants a mutual booty call or a serious relationship.

It was six years ago, back before this coronavirus nightmare, we had met in a blistering summer day in New York City - as summer in the city always are; she was at Columbia Law and I just a simple drifter. A whirlwind of a day culminated in us renting a sailboat and making to journey to Nantucket. By then, well, it was history, wasn't it?

Now she's the boss, the breadwinner... a hot shot lawyer, but she takes care of me. We dance at night, the record spinning slow and sultry on the gramophone. The roots of our soul are planted, cultivated over years of breathless love. I was what she imagined she lacked (but she lacks for nothing), she is the projection of my desire to feel whole (and I finally do.)

Darkness has come, some times, but the dawn had always risen. The next journey is three times as exciting as I imagined it to be already... wow, just wow.

Yes, we've been together for almost 7 months. I have a good feeling about this girl I'm dating right now, she managed to change bad flaws in me in a short period of time.

Yes.  I'm going on 26 years married with 3 adopted sons and oodles of granddaughters and great-granddaughters.  And it's truly something God made possible, because that area of my life was an area of great frustration at one time.
