What if Sen. Griffin (R-MI) Somehow defeated Carl Levin by a narrow margin Would he be Reelected in 1984, Would Levin run for another office.

Griffin keeps winning and retires in 1996. Levin might have run for governor in 1982 but I don't really see an opening for him to become senator.
