Is NY-22 trending Republican? CA-50 is trending Democratic.

Brindisi only b/c of Tenney. NY-22 is not feasible for dems in the long run.

Well the area isn't gonna good for Democrats but the best option is combine this district with Syracuse and ithaca, Katko vs Brindisi will be quite interesting, probably two of the strongest incumbents in the nation. On second thought Brindisi may not like Ithaca and they might find a way to sneak it to Delgado.

Why would Tenney do worse than a generic Republican?

Because she already has done it twice, she lost a Trump 54.8% district, the only district that Ds picked up against an incumbent that was even close was Oklahoma 5th which was Trump 53% but that had the gubernatorial coattails just like in KS 3rd. Even in 2016 while Trump got almost 55% she only got 44% (there was a centrist indy)

Brindisi, because he at least has a chance, even if it’s unlikely he wins again.

To be fair, Bronz necroposting to drop an interesting yet unpopular take isn't terrible.

Not sure where to post this but apparently Ammar Campa-Najjar outed himself as a Bernie grifter today. He apparently wound up flip-flopping on Medicare for All, spewing Republican talking points about "socialized medicine" and emergency rooms. Unsurprisingly, the Bernie left was pretty upset about this.

His response to the entire thing was to delete the tweet and compare the people who got him to where he is today to Nazis:

If you haven't learned, there's nothing more that I hate than progressive grifters. Most of you weren't on AAD in 2016, but I reacted fairly similarly when a Third Way "Democrat" attempted to run against the progressive candidate of choice under the Bernie brand.

Since the seat's Safe R, I hope Issa rolls him. Grifters like him need to be taught a lesson.

Probably explains why TN-Sen and MS-Sen-B were so close on 2018.
