Hard to say, but my guess is Salango.

Salango has Manchin's blessing and the local chapter of AFL-CIO behind his bid. He's likely to win the nomination.

There was a poll released by some random paper last week that had Salango barely ahead of Smith with Stollings  quite a ways back.  I'd still expect Salango to win solidly, but who knows who's voting in WV at this point.

I’m interested in the AG primary. I think if Sponaugle wins that, it might be Dems best shot at a statewide office, including even the Treasurer’s re-election.

Props to the poll. Was definitely rooting for Smith through the night.

Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere, but Senate president Mitch Carmichael lost his primary last night: https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/502010-wva-senate-president-ousted-in-primary

This being West Virginia, it's a very Trumpy district, but Carmichael held on by less than 1000 votes in 2016.

Everybody's favorite "I'd-drown-my-gay-son-and-I'm-blind-because-I-got-my-eyes-poked-out-in-a-strip-club-brawl" , Del. Eric Porterfield also finished last in his reelection bid.
