Not a terrible poll for Democrats considering it was commissioned by the Republican Speaker of the House.

Quote
U.S. Sen. David Perdue leads Democrat Jon Ossoff 45-39 in a head-to-head matchup, with 12% of voters undecided.

They also found Kemp’s scoring low marks overall and on the Coronavirus (lower than Trump and before he even announced he was opening the state back up).

Sadly, not all good news though as it seems Lieberman is still spoiling the Senate Special Election. He needs to drop out.

Quote
The poll also suggests trouble for U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler, showing the former financial executive with 12% of the vote and essentially tied with Democrats Matt Lieberman and Raphael Warnock. U.S. Rep. Doug Collins leads the November field with 29% of the vote, and outdoes Loeffler among Republicans by a 62-18 margin.

The incredibly strong in the suburbs David Perdue is getting the same 45% of the vote that Trump is.

If Democrats concede this race they are even more criminally incompetent than I thought which is really saying something

They're not conceding this race since the winner has to get 51 not a majority to avoid a runoff

The DSCC did a really horrible job of finding Senate candidates in Georgia . Lucy McBath, Stacey Abrams, Jason Carter, Jen Jordan, Sally Yates are far better candidates than Ossoff and Warnock, especially Ossoff.

This may sound concerning but the regular GA-Sen "primary" isn't until Election Day, over 6 months away.

Polls this far out don't mean that much, and there's still plenty of time for Lieberman to drop out. I expect he'll fold around autumn under pressure from the DNC, once all the other primaries are settled.

45+39+12=96.

Wonder where that final 4% went. There is a libertarian running, but 4% is quite high for a libertarian in Georgia.

It just dawned on me that this poll of the Georgia Senate race is closer than any Michigan senate race poll we’ve gotten in the past three months

Perdue may be saved by the runoff if Trump loses the state and Biden is elected, but it’s a very narrow path for him and Collins (and for any other GA Republican at this point, really.). Perdue's ability to hold sway over suburban/exurban Georgia and its voting patterns has always been exaggerated, and he’s not less vulnerable than Ernst.

Clearly Likely R, since Perdue is so absurdly popular and GA is so inelastic and unwinnable for Democrats.
