Realizing the rising tension against him at Baylor, Anderson decided to finish his studies as quickly as possible and return to work at his father’s firm in Dallas after passing the Bar. (Will happen in 1953 barring some curveball event)

In the meantime, Anderson continued to participate as an active member in the Baylor College Republicans and stood up for his beliefs of moderate government, State’s rights, scientific advancement, and international engagement.

Anderson did vote for local GOP candidates (aka: Sacrificial lambs) and was relatively lukewarm towards President Warren (I can fill in more on how he reacted to the Warren administration when details are given)

Meanwhile, Anderson’s father took on a case on behalf of former mayor, Woodall Rogers in 1949 and made a good impression after succeeding.
(More details will be given later if needed)
