March 4th, 2020 - Los Angeles, CA

After a night of much speculation after newly cemented Democratic frontrunner abruptly stopped his victory speech and was brought offstage, it was confirmed to CNN that the former vice president was brought to the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center after complaining of difficulty speaking and coordination issues where it was confirmed he had suffered a stroke. The Vice President is in stable condition and is expected to be discharged from the hospital in the coming days.

When asked about the incident, Biden campaign press secretary Symone Sanders verbally acknowledged the incident but stated that the Vice President had no plans to end his campaign due to these issues.

CNN is told fellow candidates Michael Bloomberg, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren have all spoken over phone to former vice president Biden while Congresswoman Gabbard has tweeted that she is hoping the vice president a speedy recovery.

This is a developing story.
