I guess this is Fox trying to make amends for the stupid national poll two weeks ago where they had Biden and Trump tied.

Those 41 and 42 numbers never change!

Trump doesn't necessarily need both States, Biden needs them.

Trump loses PA & MI but holds everything else he won in 2016 he is reelected 270-268.

Trump can't be losing both by 8.  This means he will lose WI, AZ, and likely FL and NC (if not more).

And he won't be losing PA & MI by 8 Points I can guarantee you that.

This should be the alarm bell. Trump has consistently time and time again gotten 40-43% in these state and national polls.

Nice, outside the margin of error.

It's pretty clear where the general public stands on opening the economy back up, it's just the smallest slice of people who yell the loudest who are in favor.

Trump's MI win still reminds of me Obama's NC win.

I don't see Biden winning Michigan and Pennsylvania by 8 points. Probably 5-6 at most.

I'm looking at the Michigan one right now and it is laughable. There is hardly any education divide (non-college only slightly more Trump than college voters) and "rural whites" are only Trump +8. Non-college whites are Trump +8 when they were Trump +31 in 2016 and James +16 in 2018.

Glorious news. Trump's delivering on his promise to rebuild a big beautiful wall, and it's a beautiful blue wall running through the Great Lakes states

Non-college voters are out of work (as are college voters and rural whites).

The point is that making comparisons with 2016 are largely going out the window.  COVID-19 is shaking up the situation more than we know--and will continue to do so.

They don't break down by age but rather generational cohort but still striking:

Biden +18 in Michigan with Baby Boomers
Biden +7 in PA with Baby Boomers

If Biden is winning this cohort it bodes well in FL and AZ, as well.

Biden is winning Millennials in PA by like 25%. But I was told he has a young people problem.

This crisis can shake up the race but it is not going to change the demographic patterns of our elections that we've been dealing with for years. Non-college whites are going to be more Republican than college whites, and they are a huge portion of the electorate in Michigan (Pennsylvania too). I don't think the college degree sample makes sense either (too Republican), but it displays Fox News polls crappiness perfectly. This sample makes no sense with any context.

How much of a Democratic bias does Fox News have?

None? Their last national poll had the two tied.

What's more interesting is that the supposed "enthusiasm gap" that allegedly eludes Biden is.... nonexistent here. Biden is +8 overall in PA, and +10 with extremely interested voters.

I wonder how people think of that question. For example, Biden wasn't my first choice but I have more enthusiasm than ever before to vote Trump out.

This is glorious, but I don't know if I trust Fox News polls anymore after their Trump+2 national poll from a little while back.
