I think a not irrelevant portion of Hillary's unpopulatity came from the fact that Trump's attacks on her stuck very well, and while she would certainly be unpopular if Trump wasn't a thing, her negative net disapproval would be smaller.

Also, Jeb has not the appeal to WWC voters that Trump has.
