Moderate Federalist Caucus

Purpose: To welcome and promote centrism within the Federalist Party. The Moderate Federalist Caucus is hereby created as a wing of the Federalist Party in conjunction with its ideals. We recognize economic liberalism and fiscal conservatism/moderation as important pillars of this caucus. The caucus welcomes independents, the non-affiliated, or others who would wish to join.
Platform: The Moderate Federalist Caucus' positions on the issues are below:

Abortion: Believing in the sanctity of life at conception and abortion can only be restricted after the third trimester and allowed in cases such as rape, incest, or danger to life of mother.
Healthcare: Medical needs are controlled by the region and left up to individual states to decide on delivery.
Drugs: Leaving regulation to the states but making exceptions for marijuana.
Education: Believes in returning control of education to the regions and minimizing standardized testing.
Foreign Affairs: Believing in the right of the state to defend itself but promoting non-intervention and seeking diplomacy over rushing to war.
Criminal Justice: Believing in criminal justice reform which includes reducing prison overcrowding, providing resources to inmates.
Trade: Believing in protectionist measures to restore the balance of trade abroad and increasing domestic production at home to stimulate the regional economy.

Position responsibilities-

Chair: Coordinates, provides support with Party chairman. To manage the organization of efforts toward electing moderate Federalist candidates. Preside over meetings and maintain order on the thread. To represent the caucus at various party functions. Sets agenda for caucus and leads nomination and voting processes.

Vice-Chair: To support the chair. Represent the caucus at party functions in the absence of the chair. Run the meetings in chair's absence. Support the agenda of the caucus. Support with other duties as necessary.

Secretary: To maintain effective records of voters and candidates within the caucus. To maintain communication between the Moderate Federalist Caucus and the Federalist Party.

GOTV Coordinator: To inform voters of candidates who are running for elected office and enhance communication between the voters and candidates.
