I like Ackerman too but the fact that he voted for Iraq authorization just because he's Jewish bothers me a bit.

My congessman (Steve Israel) is very good.  The RINO that retired from NY27 was good too.

Toss-up between Heather Wilson (R) and Pete Domenici (R). Fortunately for me they're strong political allies. Wink The other Republican, Stevan Pearce, is a nice guy but pretty conservative, whereas the two Democrats are not moderates at all...decent enough people, but pretty damn leftist in relation to the state. Yes, in NM the Reps are the more moderate group, on average.

Man I'm glad I'm an Independent so I don't have the jferns of the world calling me a DINO right now. Grin
