Was honestly taken aback by his rise from the dead after what seemed to be the end of his political career in 2016. Election/government formation theatrics aside, his tenure was seemingly going well until COVID-19. Notwithstanding that, though, probably an FF.

He's a Prime Minister and not a Chairman. HP.

Diligent and very stubborn, politically speaking. While he also have some negative qualities of typical Spanish politician (caudilismo) this is pretty much problem with all current leaders of major political parties. And he saved party from coalition with Cs (which probably would happen under Diaz leadership), which probably would not be the best scenario for the PSOE.

FF. He is not perfect but he is the best Spanish party leader out there (low bar I guess but still)

Also his comeback has to be the most spectacular comeback in Spanish history. If you had told people in November 2016 that only 2 years later Pedro Sánchez would be the Prime Minister you would have been laughed at

A self-serving idiot. The response to this pandemic was poor, and he definitely exposed himself by calling a snap election to wipe out Unidas Podemos. Only after a tenuous period of personal defeats does he relent in doing the right thing imo.

Just because the official alternative in Spain are either Crypto-fascists or enablers, does not raise the status of him or his party.

Based on what Casado's been up to recently, no.
