Tilt D just because Evers seems to be relatively non controversial, but imo more likely WI flips than that Kemp hangs on

Tossup/Tilt D, same as it was in 2018.

What's interesting is the difference between the Baldwin and Evers maps in 2018. It's clear that either Tammy Baldwin or Scott Walker has a distinct and very strong coalition. 2022 will inform us of which one is true, or if both are true.

I'm starting to wonder if Wisconsin is trending back leftwards.

Have any Republicans won statewide office since 2016?

Perhaps a lot of old whites are dying off and Madison is growing more liberal.

I wouldn't be surprised if Evers gets narrowly defeated, though.

WI voted a point further to the right of the nation this year than it did in 2016.

Tossup/Tilt R, but I could see this moving to Lean R fairly quickly if the environment gets worse for Democrats. Evers is going to be in big trouble against any halfway competent Republican, even if 2022 is more of a Republican ‘ripple.’

Tony Evers says he's still undecided on whether he will run in 2022 for a second term.

I'd imagine it could only be good for GOP if he doesn't run. What's the bench like?

Well, yeah, it must suck to be unable to do anything during COVID and be blamed for everything. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't run in 2022.

Kleefisch, Vos or Johnson could beat Evers.

True. Split-divided governments are becoming too polarized. Rauner should have retired in 2018 instead of taking that loss.....Madigan and Rauner could not get along.

Here we go Again with Tilt R WI, Conservatives have learned nothing from 2018/2020, when Baldwin won by 10 pts and Biden beat Trump, and Biden is gonna campaign for D's, unlike Trump did much for Rs with impeachment in 2018
