The fact that Green Line recommended your post makes me suspicious that Green Line is just a Trump-supporting Russian bot. At first I though he was just an ignorant #moderate but now I can see that Putin paid him.
I wish he would delete his account. Nobody wants Russian troll propaganda on here.

I never watch Trump's lie-rallies. What's making this one special?

He aired a long campaign style video, trying to make the argument that he was ahead of the curve in his Coronavirus response.

I'm not watching it either, but from the general reaction on Twitter it sounds like Trump has gone into full raving lunatic mode.

During the briefing there was a chyron on CNN that said: "Angry Trump turns briefing into propaganda session."

Northeast Democratic Governors say "nah"

West Coast Governors also say "nah"

Holy based

I need a Pritzker/Walz/Whitmer/Evers/DeWine alliance ASAP!
I want a Polis/Lujan-Grisham/Kelly alliance.
Add in Bullock and you've got a real Mountain West FF #Populist alliance.

Still won't be invited to any BCS bowls, though.

(Sorry for the crappy low-quality posts today, guys.)
The real reason the NCAA Tournament was canceled so precipitously was they were afraid of a Gonzaga-Creighton-Butler-UH final four.

Honesty this press briefing is just sad and not simply because of trump

Its sad because of how much the media takes the bait from trump and gets into these pointless fights at a time when the american people really don't need it. Trump basically turned the press briefing into everything his critics claimed it was in the first place. A Media bashing campaign rally that even starts with a campaign ad. Trump knows full well that the media will go crazy over this and now he is going to play the victim

He and the GOP will fundraise off of this and once again the media completely falls for it

What both trump and even the media fail to understand it that this is so much bigger than them and their egos. People are dying and increasingly worried about the economy yet these fools are to busy fighting each other to notice.

So this is my message to the media
Look we get it Trumps is a liar who will say anything to avoid blame but At some point they cant just keep obsessing and fighting over something everybody already knows. Rather than giving him the fight you know he wants to have why not just focus on the things that actually matter

The virus has killed thousands and the damage it has done to our economy will effect many more
that Matters way more to many Americans than some dumb fact checking fight with trump

This x100
The media should concentrate coverage on Covid-19 victims and stats, perhaps talking about personal stories of some of the victims for emotional appeal.
They should spend hours each day covering the mass graves and the dying nurses. They should barely acknowledge Trump’s direct speeches. That way, the American people can see for themselves how this administration’s response has been.

Updated cumulative European new case and death graphs (showing 5-day weighted averages):

I think it is pretty clear that the lockdowns have stopped the continued growth of the virus in most places.  What is much less clear, and much less encouraging, is whether the lockdowns are effective at steadily and efficiently reducing the virus toward an level where it will be acceptable to open things back up again.  Italy in particular hasn't really seen any continued progress over the last week.

I could be wrong, but the ripple effect of the virus in Italy was apparently extremely slow, and many areas of the country were exposed to it very late, which could be responsible for the slow recovery.

The last two days have been promising in Italy however, and overall the rate is decreasing.
