Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

I wish I saw Piranha 3D instead.

What? It was awesome!
I'm pretty undecided on the movie. I just think that Prianha 3D would be a better theater experience. Tits n' gore is always a good movie combination.

I did laugh my ass off at the vegan guy and a few of the jokes. The action sequences just didn't interest me except for the battle of the bands and the bass duel. Jason Schwartzman was great too.

To elaborate, I HATED THIS MOVIE.  But that's what makes it BRILLIANT.  I think this was a movie that was meant to be hated by its creator.  It showed characters that were cynical, sexually active, financially secure and seemingly happy for themselves.  But watching them only made me mad and I think that's the message it sends: don't be like any of these people.

4/5 stars.
Are we the same people? I thought the same things almost word for word about the movie. All I wanted to do while watching this was to fly into the film and punch Ben Stiller's character in the balls.

Disgrace (2008).

A good Australian film about a white South African professor who has questionable sexual relations with a coloured girl. He's found out and fired from his job and moves to his lesbian daughter's farm in the remote countryside when the farm comes under attack by vagabonds.

That's not the best description though. It's mostly an allegory about South Africa.

Synecdoche, New York

A brilliant movie, even if it's hard to follow at times.

Quiero movie recommendations!

The Trotsky

Kind of a stereotype of an indie movie but it's really, really good.

Oh, I also finally saw The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and I think it's my favorite live action Wes Anderson movie now.

Same here, great film. The Royal Tenenbaums is definitely his most overrated.

Limitless, it was a nice popcorn flick and the visuals were amazing.

Our Idiot Brother

If you like feeling good and being a generic granola left-winger, you will love this movie.

Moonrise Kingdom

After my first viewing, I'm convinced that it's Wes Anderson's best film.
