Lust, Caution - very intense, Ang Lee doing what he does best.
Sweeney Todd - really good, The ending was a tad too abrupt for me.

Going to a preivew of There Will Be Blood tonight.

There Will Be Blood

Excellent.  One of the best I've seen in a long time.

Totally agreed.

I also enjoyed it, started off slow and then sped up and came to an abrupt halt. Looking back I think the ending was actually appropriate.

Again, I agree.

Just watched Little Children on the On Demand from Comcast.  Kate Winslet and Jenifer Conally.  Wowsers... great movie.

And I just burned a copy of The Lion in Winter from AMC.  Peter O'Toole and Katherine Hepburn were pure magic in that flick.  I'd seen in before but some movies demand re-viewing!

Agree with both of them my last - Cinema: The Driving Bell and the Butterfly - great DVD: Hairspray...I defy anyone... ANYONE to not finish that movie in a good mood.

I personally think it's like watching a fuse slowly burn away - it's just so well put together. There are a few films from the last 7 years that I think are better, but that doesn't take anything away from it.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

Entertaining - but you felt every single one of those 160mins.

Hating Sarah Marshall.

Perhaps a tad too much c**k.  But overall very funny.

Wild Target - Bill Nighy, Emily Blunt, Rupert Grint, Rupert Everett

Really great little British comedy, Emily Blunt shows her versatility in this one Smiley

YES! That movie would earn a Best Picture nomination if the Academy had one iota of common sense and decency.

I thought it was brilliantly funny, and some of the fight scenes were pure awsome. Indeed one of the best movies I've seen in a long while.

I thought it was great, although Michael Cera s**ts me to tears.

The Kids Are Allright.

Probably my least favourite of the Best Picture nominees I've seen so far. Still pretty good.

We watched the first half hour or so of that movie, then shut it off because it wasn't very interesting.

That's the only one of the ten that I haven't bothered to watch.

I thought it was ok... but probably #8 or #9 on the list of BP nominees in my mind.
