Life (1999, starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence) although billed as a comedy, it was actually a very moving drama. Not original, but very good nonetheless.

The Hangover. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard in a movie.

The Social Network

I don't know if it was the movie of the year but it was very good. Great soundtrack. Cool ending.

What did you think of Justin Timberlake? I know you've complained about him before but I thought he did a great job here.

Yeah, he was good here. Apparently, his true talent lies in playing assholes.

Like Alpha Dog.

I think the dude who's going to play Spiderman kind of stole the show though.

Was that Eduardo? He was very solid, particularly in the "It wasn't" scene. I've read the movie is far more slanted in his favor than the reality though.

There's at least two scenes though when Eisenberg really owned though, the Harvard board review and when the other lawyer asked him if he thought he was deserving of his attention.

Zuckerberg isn't portrayed as a Complete Monster, but the movie clearly depicts him as a sociopath with no concern for the feelings of others. The Winklevoss Twins and Divya Narendra come across as unsympathetic victims, but his treatment of Eduardo crosses the moral event horizon: he doesn't cross all the way to complete monster, but he comes pretty close.

Justin Timberlake's Parker, however, steals the show and is in many ways the true villain of the movie. I thought it was easily Timberlake's best performance, and possibly an Oscar-worthy one.
